We’ll traverse the southern sectors of Marseille, discussing its most noteworthy landmarks. Starting at Pastré park, a vast natural area home to Aleppo pines, oaks, laurels, thyme, a juniper species, and the Marseille canal. We’ll ascend through the park to the goat neck at the cross peak, a climb manageable for most. Once at the summit, we’ll picnic and soak in the views. This trek offers some of the finest vistas of the Phocaean city. Next, we’ll begin our descent, navigating some treacherous paths requiring full attention. After a short while, we’ll encounter caves, and the plant life will start to shift. We’ll end up at Callelongue, enjoying a bird’s-eye view. Once we reach our destination, we’ll stroll to the Goudes for some downtime.
