Embark on a thrilling half-day electric mountain bike tour in Cassis. Explore the stunning Mediterranean landscapes, enjoy panoramic views, and visit the Calanques of Port Pin and Port Miou.
Meet your guide at your Marseille cruise terminal for a morning pickup. After a 45 minutes driving, you will begin your electric mountain bike tour (approximately 2 hour transfer and 4 hour activity with many stops).
Get outfitted with a helmet and an electric mountain bike which will allow you to cycle easily. After getting acquainted with the different options of your electric bike, you are now ready to explore Cassis and its surroundings. You will start your journey climbing the Gineste Road. This road features some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the French Mediterranean coast and the landscapes surrounding it
After a few kilometers you will reach the Calanque d’En Vau, a ‘must do’ attraction. You will have a break there, with the possibility to swim in the deep blue sea (no shower). Ride through the Calanques large paths to come back to Cassis port. This little town is well known for its elegant squares, pedestrianized streets, cafes, and shops. Your guide will make a stop at the lovely old Port giving you the opportunity to taste local products, have a coffee, a snack, buy gifts or just relax.
From there you will have two options :
- Follow your way to the Crest Road (Route des Crêtes) to enjoy a complete panorama of the bay of Cassis and La Ciotat (+1.5 hour). There you will gaze at some unbeatable views of the Côte d’Azur, the Gardiole mountain and the Gulf of Cassis. Continue along a downhill large track to reach Cassis again.
- Regress to the meeting point.
Your guide will narrate the journey and explain the different interesting points and landmarks along the way. Your 6-hour excursion ends when you will be back to your cruise terminal.
For this tour, it is recommended to bring a small backpack with food and water (own expense).
Although the electric component of your bike augments human power and makes your cycling experience easier, it does not completely replace it. The motor is only activated when the pedals are in motion. This activity requires you to stay on the bike during a couple of hours. You must be in good shape and have no serious health issue.

- Electric bikes pedal and handle just like a regular bicycle. The electric component augments human power but does not completely replace it. It makes obstacles like hills and headwind more manageable and allows you to travel further without getting as tired.
- The durations of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
