Upon the travelers’ arrival at the departure location, a brief presentation of the route will be given, outlining the itinerary that participants will follow. It is important to note that the bike tour is self-guided, and all travelers will be equipped with the necessary tools to enjoy the tour independently.

Following the presentation, travelers will set off for Alberobello. Alberobello is renowned as the premier example of a trulli culture urban center, boasting nearly 2,000 conical-shaped structures, and is often regarded as the trulli capital. The trulli are located in a karst region, historically inhabited mainly by farmers.

Trulli are small stone houses, typically without windows, or featuring a simple square or rectangular window. These houses are whitewashed with a gray cone roof, which has darkened over time due to weather exposure. They are constructed without concrete, using mortar and local limestone.

From Alberobello, travelers will cycle to Locorotondo, a town awarded the “Orange Flag” by the Touring Club for its harmonious design and accessible historic center. Locorotondo’s ancient heart is a unique monument, captivating visitors with its white huts, cobbled streets, elegant portals, and flower-adorned balconies.

The final leg of the journey will be at a winery in the heart of the Itria Valley, where travelers will enjoy a tasting of local delicacies.

The tour concludes with a return to the departure point to return the bicycles.
