From Kutaisi to Martvili

Prometheus Cave - The largest karst cave in Georgia.

The cave stretches over 11 km, with 1 km accessible to visitors. It features 22 halls, six of which are open to tourists.

Okatse Canyon - A natural monument in Georgia, located near the village by the Okatse River.

Martvili Canyon - A 700-meter stone-paved circular route begins at the Martvili Canyon visitor center and follows the Dadiani historical trail. It includes 2 bridges, 3 viewing platforms, and a historic 30-step staircase made from large limestone boulders.

Visitors can enjoy a 300-meter boat tour on the Abasha River, offering stunning views of the mountain river canyon.

Monastery Martvili - The Martvili Monastery dates back to the 7th century.

Enguri Dam - The Enguri Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Enguri River in Georgia. It is currently the world’s second-highest concrete arch dam, standing at 271.5 meters.

Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography - Established in 1936, the Mestia Ethnographic Museum is housed in a traditional Svan tower. It boasts a rich collection comparable to any European museum, featuring valuable gold and silver items, icons, ornaments, stamps, hunting gear, military armor, coins, and many other artistic masterpieces. These treasures were voluntarily donated by parishioners to the churches, following the ancient tradition of Georgian highlanders. A special highlight is the extensive collection of ancient Georgian manuscripts from the 9th to 11th centuries.

Hatsvali Ski Lift - Hatsvali Ski Resort is situated in Svaneti, approximately 8 km from Mestia.
