We will leave Harare early in the morning and drive to Great Zimbabwe Ruins. The journey will take us approximately 3 & half hours.

The monument of Great Zimbabwe is recognised by Unesco as a World Heritage Site and offers a wealth of history making it an ideal spot for guests in Zimbabwe. Great Zimbabwe was the hub of power in the Kingdom of Zimbabwe during its Late Iron Age. It functioned as a royal residence for the monarch of Zimbabwe and acted as the centre for political authority. Its walls, stretching over five meters, constructed without the use of mortar, were among its most distinctive aspects. Around 200 similar sites are scattered across southern Africa, like Bumbusi in Zimbabwe and Manyikeni in Mozambique, all featuring monumental, mortarless walls, but none match the scale and preservation of those at Great Zimbabwe.
