Great Zimbabwe on a hot day - My tour guide/ driver Blessing picked me up from my hotel and explained the day's itinerary. It was just us 2 for the 4.5hr drive to/from Great Zimbabwe, and he was very accommodating. Breakfast (more like brunch) was provided when we arrived then onto GZ, where a local guide gave the tour. The place was wasn't very big, but it was interesting learning about it's history. I opted out of climbing up to the hill complex due lack of strength from the blazing noon sun. Lunch was provided afterwards, but since I just ate, I opted for takeaway and saved it for dinner. The cold drinks provided on the return trip were a lifesaver.

Great Zimbabwe was amazing! - I used Bushmen Travel Company for two tours - Great Zimbabwe and Best of Matobo. I was impressed with both. Prior to the tours, I had prompt, informative responses to questions I emailed. Blessing was my guide to Matobo and driver to Great Zimbabwe (where I took a tour with a local guide). Great Zimbabwe was amazing! I loved visiting the Hill and sitting on the king's throne. Tech was my local guide, who was informative and patient (there was steep incline to the top) as I slowly made my way to the top. Breakfast and lunch was great. Thank you Bushmen for two great tours during my stay in Bulawayo!

Amazing place - What a great experience! It takes long from Bulawayo but definitely it is worth visiting. I learned the fantastic history and imagined how they lived there.

A day of history… - Blessing had us with a very informative guide..and, he came along taking pics, using our phones. Our questions were answered and we learned about the king and his wives. It is amazing to see how well Great Zimbabwe was built and designed…and how well it continues to stand…my family enjoyed this tour very much..thank you Blessing for taking such good care of us..

A great tour - Visiting this place was one of my main reasons for visiting Zimbabwe, and with this tour I managed to do it, although the road is long from Bulawayo to Great Zimbabwe, it is worth it. We make stops along the way to eat something or stretch our legs. Although the road is long (4 hours) it is in relatively good condition and the agency car was comfortable.
Very good service from both the guide that I accompany throughout the tour, and the guide that I accompany on the tour of the archaeological zone.
After the tour the guide had prepared a very delicious lunch to regain strength.
The tour of the archaeological zone is divided into 4 parts, first in the upper part or acropolis, it is a slightly hard climb if you are not in shape, but nothing impossible to climb, an impressive place, before going up and when going down if you pass by a parador where you can buy drinks and there are bathrooms. After going down, you pass through the museum, small but interesting. Next, we visit the last compound and to finish the tour we pass through a recreation of a town.
It's a good hike but I really enjoyed it despite the heat. I must highlight that there are few tourists and there is no harassment from vendors, which makes the tour very enjoyable.
Be careful with the monkeys that will steal what they can of food.
The agency provided me with great service these days, from arrival and departure transfers to the airport and other tours that made me enjoy my stay in Bulawayo.

Fantastic experience - A superbly organized and reasonably priced tour with excellent guide Bingani Dube. First, efficient airport pickup, next day tour of local village, Khami ruins. Efficient bus booking to Victoria Falls. And to top it all off, a surprise...sharing a beer in a local bar with local people.Highly recommended!

The best team for visiting Zimbabwe - Blessing and Bongani are the best team for visiting Zimbabwe. We visited Matobo Park, Great Zimbabwe and Khami ruins with them, and the experience is unforgetable. They arranged everything, from taking us from the airport, buying our bus tickets, taking us to the bus station, and booking excellent braais. Thanks a lot Bushmen!

Wonderful, spiritual place. Shame about no lights in the dark museum. - This is an awe inspiringly wonderful place. We went early (8.30am) and had the place to ourselves. Incredibly walls and buildings, and well worth a climb up to the Hill Complex to see where the famous stone birds were found. The stairs can be very steep and narrow so take care! The only thing that loses a point is that the museum had no power and no natural lighting, so the items on display were invisible. Some solar panels would work wonders.
