Wonderful experience - Amazing experience!!! Wonderful place, surrounded by nature with lots of beautiful discoveries, passing from rice fields, to tea plantations and small local villages. Guide Charly with incredible French, extraordinary knowledge and a good dose of humor, we spent two days out of time. Incredible atmosphere in the evening in good company The planned meals were very delicious as well as the small snacks found by Charly throughout the day I recommend this Trek with Charly 200%, it was one of the most beautiful moments in Sri Lanka for us. C’EST LA VIE!!!!

Amazing - We spent an amazing day with Charlie. We were amazed by the scenery. The flora and fauna are beautiful. Charlie is a great guide who speaks very good French and is very funny. I highly recommend this activity which will be one of the most beautiful of our trip!

My solo trip to Sri Lanka - I would like to thank Charlie for the most wonderful time in Sri Lanka. Everything was amazing from the beginning: welcoming and accommodating people who greeted me with sun shining smile to their country, stay in Kandy with lovely hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable (literally holding lantern in front of me while I was having dinner due to the power shutdown). The next day hiking through rice fields and watching birds - Charlie names all birds name we’ve seen around! Felt motivated by Charlie’s wisdom words and when he said “Look, we started from all the way there and reached this point. Be proud of yourself!” I realized how much we underestimated ourselves in life! Stay in camp base was good enough. Freshly made dinner with other guests and beautiful landscaping! And another great thing - social media detox as there is no connection which made it even more memorable. The visit to tea factory and tea tasting room with a tea cake 🎂! The picturesque view of Sri Lanka while riding a car and looking around was so peaceful. I can’t find enough words to describe how much this trip meant for me. And as for Charlie and his friend who drove us everywhere - thank you guys for putting your heart to the work you do! And as a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable, so if you have time and don’t have company (because sometimes it happens girls) I definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience. - Magical experience. Probably our best memory of Sri Lanka. 3 days/2 nights with this great Guide through the Knuckles Mountain. Landscape every day quite different, delicious meal and rich human experience. Exit the tourist itineraries to take full eyes. To do again without hesitation.

Our favorite activity of our trip - It is our best memory and the most beautiful scenery we have seen in Sri Lanka. We loved our day trip to the Knuckles with Shalika. He has a great knowledge of the fauna and flora of the country, we were able to see several animals and full of fruit cultivation and other different. We highly recommend trekking.

Best way to see Knuckles! - This was the highlight of Sri Lanka for us. Charlie was a fantastic guide and a chill guy to hang out with too. The hike is amazing and includes lots of swimming spots, the camping is super comfortable. Would highly recommend as the best way to see Knuckles.

A wonderful day in the Knuckles with Shalica - Amazing day spent with Shalica. He picked us up from the hotel then we headed towards Knuckles. The landscapes are very varied and Shalica is not stingy with explanations. He is very pleasant, smiling, approachable and was very attentive to us. Several circuits are available. The lunchtime picnic was plentiful and very good. Our day went wonderfully and young and old loved it. Don't hesitate to come discover the Knuckles and meet Shalica, you won't be disappointed!! Enjoy your trip to Sri Lanka, it's a wonderful country...

really worth doing!! - if I had to do it again it would be 200%! we did the 2d/1night outing with Charlie and it was really great!! not being very bilingual, the fact that Charlie speaks French is really a plus! with all its explanations about nature, mountain, country, culture and everything you want to talk about!! really something to do to discover Sri Lankan nature!! Charlie is great!

Highlight of Sri Lanka - Highlight of Sri Lanka! Shalik is passionate about his job and will show you all the wonders of the knuckles from tea plantations to waterfalls and spices and fruits along the way. We joined a group we didn’t know for a 2-day hike and had so much fun! The pace is not too intense and Shalik makes sure everyone is enjoying the hike. Thank you again for the great time :)
