From the apex, one can see the towns of Matale and Alawathugoda, along with the mountain ranges that encircle a large portion of the Matale District, including Wilshire, Hunnasgiriya, Elkaduwa, Brandy rock Etipola, Muwagala, Ankumbura, Bahirawa kanda (Kandy), Bible rock (Pilimathalawa), Riverton and Owilikanda ranges. The trek is a 6km journey, which generally takes between 2 to 4 hours (depending on the tourist).
