Not to be missed. Absolutely to do - I tour many places solo and even for Matera it was so. A whole day visiting her alone with my wife. The next day we decide to do the guided tour. It was beautiful; meanwhile the Guide was spectacular, helpful, kind and really prepared. did not make us think that for her it was a job, and was able to make everyone participate (even the children in the group). I understand that the service comes at a cost, but it changes the way you see the city and you can appreciate it even more. Congratulations..

Tour of the stones - Thanks to Pasquale we were able to visit Matera getting in full harmony with what surrounded us and as we went forward telling us history and anecdotes was a really pleasant visit, very prepared person and at the same time characteristic, it fit perfectly in the context. The NS tour started in the late afternoon so we could admire the beauty of the stones that change color according to the light and humidity of the moment. At the end of the tour, now dinner time and after stopping again to chat we realized that he is a person with great values

Wonderful. - We left at 6pm, a perfect time to see the Sassi with natural daylight and then with the lights on: both alternatives are worth it. We found the appropriate ticket price (15€). Our Guide, Giuseppe, was very prepared and was nice. I particularly appreciated the direct testimony of one of the displaced people who gave us a beautiful moment in the church of Sant'Antonio Abate. But also the rest of the visit paid tribute to the wonder that are the Sassi.

Cultural factor - Organization and passion, both of the Agency Owner and the Guide Francesco really extraordinary... not the usual ‘package’ for tourists

Not pleased - Our guide was very broad strokes. No major details. Left not knowing how caves got there. Felt like I wanted a historian or architect to explain things but instead got a sweet older woman who didn’t provide insight.
