A beautiful day in Matera - Very good Simone who told us 15000 years or more in 2 hours!

Wonderful french tour of Matera with Francesco - We had a wonderful tour of Matera with our guide Francesco. Francesco is a very knowledgeable, resourceful, friendly and considerate guide. He provided us very interesting information about his town Matera. Matera is not an easy town to visit because of all the stairs to climb and especially because of the stones that are very slippery. Francesco guided us with a respectable slow pace, always mindfull of the challenges of the road/sidewalk. He always made sure that we were all together, waiting sometimes for others to catch up, always making sure that we were safe, confirming that we were all right and through all that, brilliantly informing us of the incredible history Matera has.

Nice but slow/long tour. - Last minute decision to book this tour. I’m glad we did it because we learned a lot and were able to see a lot of things we could have missed on our own. The guide was knowledgeable and nice. We walked quite slow and the tour was longer than expected so we had to leave before the end. Also the guide arrived late and seemed to have started in a different spot with a different group before picking us up at the designated location. This caused some confusion.

Bari Strret Food Tour - You really get to see some of the highlights of Bari. In my opinion there could be a bit more walking and quicker through the food stops. Also it’s called street food, but that was not the case. Food was enjoyable but not real street food of Bari. the stop at the restaurant with the murder spaghetti was not good waitress was a bit annoyed and we had to leave within minutes before the guests arrived?? What kind of collaboration is that?

Poor French tour - The tour did not start at the location as indicated. We had to contact the tour operator. Then they sent a person who could not speak any French or English to pick us up, very disorganized. The level of french is very poor in the tour and the information is basic. Even some people in the tour made some comments on that. Matera is a magical town and deserves a better tour.
