Our immersive journey includes a learning session on bread baking, with a preceding introduction and profile of our business that has thrived in the locality for four generations. It all commences with the elaboration of the ingredients used, such as: the finest local semolina and sourdough starter. We proceed with visiting the baking studio where the lead baker outlines the bread-making methods: mixing, rising, shaping the loaves, and imprinting the distinctive stamp of Matera bread.
During the bread loaf preparation, visitors will get a chance to immerse themselves in the process by kneading and designing their own bread loaf, which they can take home post baking.
Upon conclusion of the process, participants can wrap up this immersive journey with a sampling of local delicacies in a designated relaxation area.
