Additional Information

Maggiore is not simply a dairy but a tradition, a family project of many generations. A true artisanal dairy where fresh mozzarella is made every day from high-quality milk from selected farms just a few kilometres from our dairy. After discovering where milk comes from by reconstructing the certified local supply chain, you will immerse yourself in the scents and vapours of the production workshop to witness the magic of spinning that our cheesemakers still perform by hand. The warm, stringy mozzarella and the soft, piping hot “pasta filata” will radically change your point of view about food and cheese, and you will never go back to the usual commercial products. You will be guided and supported by an experienced and qualified Master cheese taster. This is a special experience that will allow you to witness the production of mozzarella and cheese entirely in the traditional way and to taste rare flavours. You could also visit market and buy some lucanian delicacies
