• Matera - Explore Matera, the “European Capital of Culture 2019,” a one-of-a-kind destination recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993. We’ll traverse the Sasso Caveoso, visit the Casa Grotta di Vico Solitario, a typical “Sasso” home preserved as it was in 1953, and explore the well-preserved Rupestrian church, “Santa Lucia alle Malve.” Along the way, we’ll also stop by various souvenir shops.
