He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative on all things regarding the history of Matera as well as, in general, the culture of Italy. We spent an unforgettable day with him. The tour couldn't have possibly have been better.

Matera and more - Vito was full of knowledge and character. He filled our drive to Matera with stories and conversation. He is very well educated about European History and Anthropology and we had long discussions about all kinds of subjects and philosophy. Matera was beautiful as expected and seeing it through Vito’s perspective was unique and special. He took very good care of me as a guide and I highly recommend his tours for a personal and honest taste of Puglia.

Fantastic experience - What beautiful sights with a fantastic guide. Vito’s Matera and Alberobello tour is a great way to see two beautiful towns in one day. Vito was a great guide who was very knowledgeable. Definitely must see destinations while in Puglia

Vito was the best tour... - Vito was the best tour guide I ever had! He was extremely knowledgeable and funny. The tour was awesome and allowed me to see Matera in an effortless way. Definitely recommend this tour and any other of Vito’s tours!

Great day out…wonderful tour guide!! - I was picked up at my BNB right on time by Vito to then get the rest of the group. We drove to Matera and he took us through the old town. It was very quiet as there was a celebration going on in the new part. It was lovely walking through the little streets and learning the history. We were able to take pictures & shop for souvenirs. We then drove to Alberobello which he added on for free!! It was much busier here and very hot, but I was excited to see the Trulli’s. The little town is so cute making everywhere a picture to be taken. He took us to his favourite place to eat and we stopped for lunch. We then looked through some old/original Trullis and to a place to taste some EVOO 😋 Had such a fun day, definitely worth going on this tour,

Flying from Matera to Bari - Vito was knowledgeable, and seemed interested in sharing that knowledge with us the first part of our trip. As the tour progressed he seemed to lose interest. At the end of the tour he asked us to grab a drink or a sandwich for lunch while he went to get the car. He said to take our time. Maybe we took too much time, because he drove us back to Bari exceeding 150 km/hour almost all the way. We were eight bug eyed, terrified, praying Americans! One of us even texted her children to say she loved them, just in case we didn’t survive the trip. Vito did not speak to us from Matera to Bari.

Awf - They were a no show. I travelled from the USA to visit. I lost taxi money, time an entire day when i could have been on another tour. I should have been informed the day before and not 2 hours after. I was at spot early and waited 2 hours. It was hot. Lack of consideration. I will consider not booking with you in the future. You shouldhave xlconfirmed tours for guests.
