Matera = Facinating - Antonio was our guide - he was very knowledgeable & friendly. I would definitely recommend taking this tour

Apeppecar the best! - We had the opportunity to stop in Matera and we found Antonio in the square of the cathedral, we booked the longest tour for the next morning, on time Antonio came to pick us up at the B & B where we were staying, took us to visit a typical house in the stones and then in the workshop of an artisan where there is a beautiful miniature of the Sassi, he explained the history and structure of Matera, very good, we highly recommend it. Matera is Fantastic

Definitely to be redone! - We traveled with Francesco, and it was a truly unique experience to do as a family, especially for the kindness he had with our children and the way he explained all the details of this wonderful city! Thank you for making this holiday weekend unforgettable!

Fun Experience - A must do in Matera. We were 4 and took the 75 minute tour. From the reservation to the tour, service was the best. Our guide spoke English and answered many questions we had. We saw the areas that have been past movie sets. The sunset from the top of a hill, near the church, was fantastic. Also it is very easy for anyone who has difficulty walking. I loved honking the horn as we zipped by others!

Great tour - Francesco was extremely easy to communicate with since the booking, very informative,punctual and helpful. Perfect way to get an... - Perfect way to get an overview of Matera. Our tour guide was very informative regarding the history of the city as well as current facts. Francesco also provided information on local dining within easy walking distance from the tour headquarters but still in the old town. Would recommend the APEPPECAR to start your day in Matera.

Very nice your. - Our guide spoke English which we appreciated. He took us around the highlights of Sassi and we had a couple of stops. He was willing to stop so we could take more photos. Very nice experience. Learned about the history.

Must do tour of the Sassi in Matera - This is a great tour to do. We had an awesome guide. With him we were able to gain such a better understanding of how life was, as recently as the 1960’s.
The tuk tuk is able to zip around through the narrow streets. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another one that afternoon to see some of the caves outside the town.
