Additionally, you can create a one-of-a-kind calligraphy artwork, and take it home as a souvenir of your trip to Japan. The artwork will offer comfort in your room.

• You can create your own artwork by writing a single Kanji character on a thick paper board.
• You can enjoy a live calligraphy performance in which the calligrapher dynamically draw one Kanji character on a big board while playing Tsugaru shamisen music.
• Shinsui Tanaka, who is a Japanese calligraphy instructor with over 10 years of professional calligraphy experience, tries to give careful guidance.
• The venue is a 5-min walk from Matsudo Station, which is located about 20 mins away from Ueno Station by JR Joban rapid train.
• Anyone over the age of 9 can join.
