  • Yamatoya Honten - This is a luxurious programme of four traditional Japanese performing arts in an omnibus format, including Kyogen, Geigi no Ozashiki Buyo, Wadaiko and Jidai Gekiga Buyo, all in one hour and ten minutes. The programme has been arranged so that even those who have not had the opportunity to see traditional Japanese performing arts can enjoy them. In the ‘Mini Experience Corner’, three participants will be selected by lottery to experience ‘vocalisation by a Kyogen performer’ and ‘dance instruction by a Geigi’. Photography and videotaping are allowed during the performance. However, please refrain from publishing videos you have taken on social networking services, etc., as this is an infringement of copyright and prohibited by law. Eating and drinking are not permitted for traditional Japanese performing arts, but drinks will be sold for this programme. The venue is the Noh stage ‘Senjuden’ on the 4th floor of the Yamatoya head office, located in the heart of Dogo Onsen district.
