Not easy skiing. - Our instructor, West, is really patience and took care of us (our group has 8 persons taking the class). It was not easy skiing with the ground condition (still icy on 31 Dec 23) but he tried he best to guide, teach and help us up whenever we fell over. But still a good experience.

Great experience - So well organized. From check-in to check-out. The staff were fabulous. Our guide West was a great facilitator through the day. Very attentive, patient and personable. Had a great time as a solo traveller and would recommend this for all levels.

Michel is the best! - Michel was truly one of the best instructors at any sport I have tried. His knowledge surpasses his age, and he’s clearly an expert at skiing. He’s a great teacher who is patient, understanding, and willing to adapt, and knows his way around the mountain. He wasn’t afraid to push us if we got better at a skill, and wanted us to be as good at skiing as we could be.

Excellent beginner ski course - Great instructor, good course for beginners. I’ve never skied before and learned a lot. Pick up was from Outdoor store in Interlaken, they took us to Bodmi in Grindelwald to ski in the beginner area. Most of the instruction was group based but due to the small group there was opportunities for individual instruction and assistance. Overall a really good experience.

Great instructor, good training slopes - We had a good time with our ski instructor, Alan. He had the “let you learn from working it out” vibe and is not very interventionist. It works for us as we had a little bit of experience skiing and do prefer to independent. He gave us frank assessments and very useful advice on how to progress. Thanks, Alan! Gear was good too. The ski boots were comfortable. Only thing is there is a limitation of feminine looking gear for plus sizes for the females in our group.

Love the experience! - We got Jan (Yan) as an instructor and he was purely excellent! He was patient with the 5 of us and made sure everyone had their turns and that everyone was okay after each fall. ;) It was my first time to ski and I think I made a bit of progress with Jan’s help! This was one of the highlights of our trip and I would love to do it again! 👌🏻

Great experience with patient instructor! - We took the full day beginner skiing package in Dec, it's AMAZING! Our instructor, Jan, is very patient and helpful. I end up made a great progress and can manage basic ski techniques and turns with Jan's coaching. He helped us take cinematic videos too! The ski equipment rental flow is efficient. The crew is friendly. I also like the price transparency (available on their website), no surcharge.

Great to learn the basics - Outdoors supplied the transport and equipment which was great, it was a different company who supplied the actual instructor. This was very confusing when we first arrived at Bodmi and we were separated from our group and put with an instructor who didn’t have enough students. After lunch he had another group which left us without an instructor, when we went to the hut and explained they didn’t understand and we were out with another group who were learning the same things we’d learnt in the morning so we never got to progress. Where as other people who were on our bus got to progress out of the small area and onto the actual bunny hills. Overall it was still a good experience we learnt how to stop, go, and turn. One downside for outdoors was that the did not supply any ski boots larger than a 13 uk men’s so husband had to squeeze his feet in them. We know next time to look at different rental places.

No first aid in the event of accident - It was a busy season. The check-in was a bit chaotic but the instructor was patient. However I do have a bone to pick with the management. I did have a minor accident in the bodmi arena and some one banged into me and hurt my shoulder. I went to their outdoor counter in bodmi arena, they just gave me a name of town doctor. Apparently there were No first aid at all. When I went to their head quarter in Grindelwald, the counter lady just told me to go opposite to the pharmacy to get some medicine. They were very inexperienced in handling first aid. This is very bad experience since they have had so many ski instructors. Horrible..
