From December till April, you have the chance to sight the migratory Humpback Whales that visit for mating purposes.

Olowalu Beach
On highway 30, just past mile marker 14 across from the "Welcome to Olowalu" sign heading west. We have a black SUV with Gabriel's Ohana on the door and a big wooden trailer. Coming from Lahaina/Kaanapali side it is just past mm 14.5 and the sign reads Aloha. Along the shore, no parking lot.

AMAZING! - Jason is, hands down, one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. His passion for the ocean environment is genuine and heart-felt, and his desire to teach others about protecting this beautiful Maui habitat is incredible. On the kayaking tour, Jason taught us SO much interesting information, and the snorkeling was absolutely phenomenal! Jason brought up a brittle sea star (so spider-like!), a sea cucumber, a purple sea urchin, and a pencil urchin (my favorite!) for me to examine and hold before carefully replacing them where they belonged. Jason led me through the stunning architecture of colorful coral and we met several sweet sea turtles along the way. This was, by far, my MOST favorite activity while staying in Maui. Jason…thanks for the unique and exciting experience, for the incredible memories, for the loving hugs, and for giving the beautiful sea creatures of Maui a voice. Thank you for advocating for and protecting the Hawaiian habitat.

Morning kayak experience - My wife and I had the opportunity to take the clear kayak tour this morning. The owner, Jason and his son are amazing.
Jason took us around the reef, explained the different types of fish, coral and sea turtles in the area. Not only were the views spectacular but it was a very educational kayak experience. This was our first time. We saw several sea turtles and some fish during the trip.
I highly recommend this experience.

Lovely tour with a lovely guide - We really enjoyed the kayak trip! Our guide was so kind and we could see how attentive he was to each group. He shared so much info about turtles, coral, sharks, whales, and more with us. We could sense his passion for his work and his genuine excitement to share and connect with us. We saw a bunch of turtles and whales in the distance.

Must do kayak and snorkel tour in Maui! - Poseidon himself helped me face my fear of getting in the ocean. Great experience kayaking and snorkeling for my first time with father and son duo. I have never really snorkeled before and am too scared jumping off a boat into the ocean so this was a fantastic first time experience. We were able to practice by the shore so I could learn and get comfortable. Nice small group. Swam with so many fish and a sea turtle! One of my best experiences ever. Also closer to Kaanapali. They also take great photographs!

The father son team were... - The father son team were very nice and most accommodating.
They really love what they do and it shows.
The tour is a slow, descriptive paddle not too far off the shore.
Beautiful scenery and very peaceful with occasional turtle poking it's head out of the water.
One recommendation however for the owners: you really need better more cushioned seats for the kayaks. What you currently have was pretty uncomfortable for me personally.
But overall a pleasant time and worth the money.

Unforgettable Kayak & Snorkel Tour - We had such an amazing time kayaking and snorkeling with Jason on our trip to Maui. Our two young sons had a blast, and we got so lucky with an amazingly beautiful day. The ocean was like glass, and we kayaked out much further than we normally would have. Jason made sure we were comfortable and safe the whole time. We saw tons of whales, jelly fish, sea turtles and lots of beautiful marine life among the reef. It was our first time ever kayaking and snorkeling and we would absolutely do it again. Jason made it so much for the kids, provided a lot of great information, shared stories and generously let us stay out much longer than the designated time of the tour. Thanks for being the highlight of our trip to Maui, Jason! Mahalo!

Thanks for the Wildlife knowledge and cultural sharing - Thank you to Jason for his passionate tour of the Maui coast. Lots of cultural and historic information about Maui mixed in with close by turtle and coral interactions. Jason's local turtle attraction info was much appreciated, giving some wonderful ideas for more wildlife viewing on our own later that afternoon.

Do this and you will not regret it! - First-time kayaker and it was fantastic! Jason and family made us feel very comfortable in the water. Jason was super informative and funny and we learned a lot about the ocean, the islands and the marine life. The water was clear and smooth as glass. I LOVED that Jason is so passionate about the ocean and its creatures. There was a monk seal on the shore and he very firmly told some people they were getting too close. It shows just how important it is to him to take care of our oceans and critters. The ONLY thing I can suggest to them is to wash the rash guard shirts. Mine did not smell good. Thank you Jason and Gabriel! You are amazing!

Fantastic Experience! - I had such a great experience with this kayak company! Even though I live in Maui, I wanted to support a local business, and I’m so glad I did. The father-and-son team was super friendly and shared so much interesting information about Maui, its history, and the ocean. My girlfriend is not a confident swimmer, but they made her feel completely at ease, and she even went snorkeling for the first time! It was such a memorable adventure, and I highly recommend them.
