Perfect for first time surfers of all ages! - Wonderful experience! First time surfing for our kids (ages 7,8,10,12). Wonderful, friendly instructor (Camila), great beach to learn to surf. Our kids had a great time and want to surf again in the future! Highly recommend!

Surf Lesson with Mike - Mike was an amazing instructor. Had my two kids up and surfing with a few runs. He was very informative and took his time to answer any question. Highly recommend surf shack.

Exceptional Experience & Well Thought Out - Sofia = the perfect balance of Zen instruction. It must get hard doing the same thiing day after day, but Julia reflected the spirit of “finding a job you love, and you’ll never work another day” We had a great time and recommend anyone thinking of going surfing to do it with this company and ask for Sofia. Also, just buy the photos to support the great craft of the photographer and the priceless memories digitally. Note; This is a shared surfing spot so expect to get a hard time (in a good way) if you don’t follow local surfing ettiquette. Amazing Instructors! - I scheduled this lesson as a surprise to my 8 year old son, while we were on the island. I thought he would love as we saw many children participating on the beach. Our instructor was Segundo and he went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared to go out in the water. Unfortunately, my son got scared with the waves and we didn't last long in the water. Segundo went above and beyond to try to make my son feel comfortable and talk him down. While he still didn't feel comfortable continuing the lesson, I greatly appreciated him making the extra effort to be sweet to a nervous and scared child. We waited on the beach for the rest of our group to finish their lesson and while we were waiting, another female instructor came by and offered a private lesson on the shore. We tried a couple of times, but it wasn't for him. When the lesson was over, Segundo offered us a free lesson the following day if we happened to have a change of heart. Again, very much appreciate the care and compassion of this crew. While we didn't get to participate in the lesson, the rest of our group looked to have an amazing time and all caught some great waves. Highly recommend to any first timers!

Awesome!!!! - This was an Awesome experience! Our instructor Francisco was amazing, he was patient, fun and had us surfing in no time. If you ever wanted to try surfing I would highly recommend it no matter how young or old you are! We loved it so much we did it twice.

65 year old women enjoys the surfing - Though I have never been surfing before and the waves were rather big / rough, I got up and had the fantastic feeling of riding the waves. - Good things were: clear safety and practical instructions, small groups,, smiles and encouragements.

Good beginner experience. - Friendly instructors make sure that you will surf! It felt like there were too many people in our group, nevertheless, everyone got attention. There were also other groups near by in the water, it felt a bit crowded.
