Super great time! - Way exceeded expectations. The drive up to the top was very information and the driver way great! We felt totally safe and cared for on the way down. A great experience even for someone not super comfortable with biking.

Do Not Book with Anyone Else - We had a wonderful time biking down Haleakala. Kimo was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable on the history and nature of the area. He took us up to the top where we got to take pictures at two overlooks (other companies only do one) and then we descended slightly in the bus to reach the starting point for the bike ride. The bikes were well maintained and even head gears to assist in the uphill peddling (very minimal). I would book again with them immediately and would absolutely recommend others to do the same.

Great Downhill Run! - Great service, good organization. Safety is obviously a priority. We had a lot of fun, and the downhill run was exhilarating. Too bad that local laws removed the middle portion of the ride, but Bike Maui did a great job of dealing with that situation.

Great Day - Our family had a great time. The "Guided Sunrise Bike Tour by Cruiser Phil's" met and exceeded our expectations. Marlon, van driver up the volcano, was excellent. He provided authentic information about the history, landscape, plants, animals and current living conditions in Maui. Marlon has a great sense of humor. If available, i would request him. We got lucky, the sunrise was awesome the day after Thanksgiving. Drew was our "Tour Guide" on the bikes down the hill. He was hilarious, had a great attitude, understands his audience and his bike skills are off the chart. I am not a thrill seeker. Drew provided a safe environment for all levels on our decent down the volcano. Don't be afraid, the 2:30 am wake-up alarm was worth it at the end of the day. Once again, I highly recommend these guys. 810 Haiku Road Suite #120, Haiku, HI 96708 Ph: 808-575-9575

An adventure you won’t forget! - This activity exceeded all my expectations. It was tremendous. First you go up to the summit and view the crater, which is spectacular, not to mention the incredible views along the way. Then you ride down, as fast as you’d like (or not), not once, but twice, the top 8 miles or so. The part with the least traffic. Then after a pick up on the van, you resume the ride further down, and stop in little town of makawao for lunch if you’d like. Then finish the ride. The tour guide, Kimo, is the best! Super nice guy, funny as hell, as just as Knowledgeable about almost everything, like the trees, flowers, fruits, animals, history of Hawaii, you name it. Born and raised on the islands. Definite highlight of our time on Maui (and I live on Oahu). Highly recommend.

Fantastic Experience - Thanks, Kimo! - Fantastic day with Bike Maui. Kimo, our guide, was full of useful information and is a gem of a person. I'd recommend Bike Maui (particularly with Kimo) to anyone visiting the island. Thanks for a great experience!

Hey, not to be missed experience - This was a great experience. The bicycles were first rate. Included was a rain jacket in case of foul weather. The staff took us in a 10 person van to the top of Haleakala, with the driver, filling us in on the Flora, fauna, and history of Maui. We spent some time taking in the view of the island from the top of the crater, and looking into the caldera . Truly amazing. We were up above the clouds. We then took two runs midway down the mountain from the top, through the clouds. Because of local ordinances, we had to go back in the van, and get driven to the lower 1/3 of the mountain, then completing the bike trip down. We spent lunch at a small café in a town 2/3 the way down the mountain. Had a great coffee at Espresso Mafia. Not to be missed. The trip was a full day from 8-3. One of the best experiences we had on the islands.

Chandler Haleakala Ride - Kimo is fantastic! Exceptional knowledge of Maui including plant and animal life. Provided great safety and ride instructions. However, it was disappointing to learn during the pre-ride instructions that the section through Kula is closed to riders. I would have benefitted from being informed ahead of time. Other than that, Kona bikes are great to ride and scenery is always wonderful.

Absolutely the worst . - Absolutely hated it . I'm just not doing it again terrible experience . Who wants to jump off a cliff on a bike from 7000 feet?? Do you not care of life ? I am not gonna do any activities that makes me sign a death waiver . No thanks not my thing . If others find it joyful sure go for it. Just not me. This whole Maui is terrible experience and I just wanna go back . I'm sick of it
