Best sunrise experience - Amazing experience that words cannot describe as far as the view is. Preston was absolutely wonderful as our guide. I will say if you plan to take a trip to Haleakala Mountain for the Sunrise, certainly chose Poly Adventure Tours and try to get Preston as your guide. Now for the facts, please please please dress warm. It is windy and freezing at the top of the mountain. So will need to pack your winter coat, gloves, and socks., not to mention your hat as well. And do not forget to take blankets from the hotel. Just request them from the front desk. They will know when you state you are going on the sunrise tour. Have fun 🤩

MUST do in Maul. Once in a life time experience to see Sunrise above a sea of clouds. - Once in a life time experience that you MUST do. The tour guide are friendly, funny, and professional. Prepare us very well on what to expect so we could enjoy every part of the tour without missing out on anything. The driving was great as I couldn't imagine if I would need to drive by myself in the dark at cold temperature condition that the windows will need to be defrost. It would be very challenging so I am very glad that I choose to go with Polynesian Adventure. It is worth the money so you enjoy everything without any worries or hustles.

Best Sunrise of My Life! - The best sunrise I have ever experienced! Preston with Polynesian Adventures was outstanding! I know it’s a bit unusual to pack winter clothes for a vacation in Maui, but it’s so worth it! Make sure to bring plenty of layers - I thought we were being overdramatic by bringing hats, gloves, scarves and down jackets, but we wore all of it! On this tour, you’ll end up being outside in 30 degree weather on a good day for 2 hrs. It’s worth it to bring the extra layers. We were picked up at our hotel at 3 am to make the 1 1/2 hr drive up to Haleakala Crater at 10,000 ft. Preston made sure to get us there early so that we could first enjoy the Maui night sky without any light pollution - spectacular! Then, we watched in awe as the sky slowly (over 1 1/2 hrs) began to lighten and change to pink, orange and yellow with white clouds below us and the sun emerging in bright gold on the horizon - it felt like we were on the edge of the world. A truly singular experience! The hot chocolate Preston provided when we got back on the bus was perfect. Once it was time to head back down the mountain and head to our delicious breakfast at Cafe O’Lei (macadamia nut pancakes - yum!), Preston gave us all kinds of fun facts and interesting information about Maui. The view of Maui on the way down the mountain was one of the best parts of the tour! Thank you Preston for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

An inspirational experience of beauty and Hope! - Preston our guide was the best! He gave us all types of interesting information and prepared us for what to view and how to best experience Haleakala as well as local tips on visiting the high country and Hana. IT WAS SO COLD even at 40 degrees the elevation makes you feel like it’s much colder (NYer here). One of the most beautiful views and experiences of my life! Highly recommend and ask for Preston!

Fantastic experience at the sunrise tour - We had a fantastic time here - this was such a memorable experience from start to finish. The views were unbelievable. Moreover, the entire day was seamlessly and perfectly executed - from the timely pickup to the exceptional tour guide (Preston) to the breakfast at the end. Preston was incredibly knowledgeable about everything related to the sunrise and beyond, and you could tell that he is simply so passionate about what he does. He is a big part of what made this such a great experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour company and Preston for anyone looking for special travel experiences in Maui.

Amazing! - Perfect tour. Preston was knowledgeable and passionate, an amazing combination. Dress warmer than you think! Bring layers, blankets, hats and gloves. If it’s warm you can leave things on the bus. The Mill House Restaurant and surrounding market area was a hidden gem. So pretty and didn’t feel touristy or resort like. Amazing tour.
