Good views and tour - Preston was very knowledgeable and funny. Tour was great. It was a good day to go but windy as expected. Wear warm clothes and jackets. I just wished we knew what time breakfast will be at so we could have gotten some food and water with us on the top. But overall was great tour

I’m glad that I chose this tour:) - Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast included in this tour was good too! I was a little bit worried about their pickup at hotel, but it was very smooth and on time!

Dress warm, incredible sunrise - Preston was an incredible guide. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The breakfast at the farm is also really great along with the fresh POG juice. An important note that is not written on any of the tour sites- it is very cold. Dress accordingly. On a “dry and warm” day on Jan 1: wool socks, sweater with thick jacket, scarf, beanie, gloves kept us warm enough to stay out to watch the stars and sunrise. Dress prepared so that you can enjoy your time up there! It’s spectacular!

AMAZING experience - prepare for the cold!! - Wow. I cannot say enough! Our guide, Preston, was knowledgeable and humorous, offering spectacular advice and insights to make our experience even better. The ride to and from the mountain was peaceful and informative, and breakfast was great. One piece of advice I would give - dress warmer than you think you’ll need. It was COLD at the top of the mountain but Preston graciously offered us warm clothes for those of us who were underdressed. We cannot compliment him enough. Thank you Preston!

Haleakala Holiday Tour - Thank you to Wayne who was our very informative tour driver for the Haleakala Tour and breakfast. We were picked up on time at our condo in a new minibus. This was a long day with a ton of information provided and Wayne did an excellent job. Haleakala is beautiful but it's no joke, when they say dress warm..dress warm. We are from Seattle and were in jeans, sweatshirts, puffer jackets with hoods and we were still cold. Once the sun starts to rise you forget your frozen extremities and bask in the beauty of the sunrise. After a few pictures, our new friends loaded back on to the bus for more information and history provided by Wayne with the next stop being at Cafe O'Lei for breakfast. Breakfast was average, it was Christmas Day and I think the staff was ready to get home to be with their family and friends, which I can totally understand but if you want to rush the process, don't offer the service on a holiday. We would have been happy to book another day if they didn't offer the Christmas Day tour. Not the tour companies fault, as I shared, Wayne was the best and so accommodating, friendly and full of useful Hawaiian history.
