Your guide will lead you along streams to three or more of these stunning cascades, some reaching over 40 feet (12 meters) in height. While many tourists visit the Hana Highway area for its scenic beauty, your local guide knows the best spots to admire the falls on your 2.5-mile (4-kilometer) hike.
The waterfalls are stunning from the land, but they’re even more impressive up close. Wade into any of the pools beneath the falls—depending on the season, some are calm enough to swim under. With guidance from the guide, thrill-seekers can climb up to the nearby columnar basalt ledges and leap 10 to 15 feet (3 to 4.5 meters) into the water below. After exploring the waterfalls, enjoy a healthy lunch. A van will take you back along the Hana Highway to your hotel.

Perfection - We chose the Waterfall and Rainforest hike. The entire experience, from pick up to drop off was seamless. The length of the hike was perfect. The hike had some challenging aspects. But nothing that would be concerning for most people. The foliage was breathtaking. The waterfalls were exhilarating. And if you are fortunate enough to get Nick as your guide, it's the icing on the cake. Nick absolutely made the tour extra special for us. He had an amazing demeanor. He was informative, kind and funny. He interacted with the entire group so easily. While we were still on the island, we told many people about our experience with Hike Maui AND always said"request Nick as your guide". You won't be sorry!

Well worth it and highly recommend - Really enjoyed the leisure walk with some slight climbing. Several of the waterfalls seemed remote and off the beaten path which was nice.
Jumping into the waterfall was definitely a highlight.

Wonderful Maui Rainforest Hike - Although I don't remember our tour guides name, she provided an excellent tour on May 26. She was informative about the vegetation, Hawaiian culture, and history. We had a wonderful time and it is a memorable event for us during our visit to the Hawaiian Islands. Lunch was great near one of the many waterfalls we visited on our hike.
We met her boyfriend who was a Hike Maui tour guide as well... hint, hint.

Awesome hike and waterfall experience - Went on a hike & swim tour with Mikayla as our guide, while you can hike without a guide, definitely appreciated the awesome job Mikayla did showing us the best waterfall spots for swimming and cliff diving as well as the vast flora knowledge she shared and Hawaiian legends. Highly recommend this tour

Mike & Jehan - having done and survived the "Road to Hanna" several years ago we opted for a more local hike. a wise choice. we were led by Ali, whose knowledge and personality, were matched by her love of the island , its people and culture. although the hike was vigorous, with several crossings of rapidly flowing rivulets as well as heavily encumbered trails full of large roots and some logs, rocks, and even boulders we all had a truly magnificent time and learned about nature and culture. we even got to swim in several waterfall fed pools which was fun and refreshing. the more daring among us climbed up the last waterfall to jump feet first around 18-20 feet into a refreshing pool again, not for the faint of heart
while I most highly recommend this company and this particular hike I would add please take waterproof bags for wallet, phone camera etc as it is very easy to take a header while crossing the fast running water. this I discovered from personal experience and while I emerged soaked, my backpack remained dry I however a bit embarrassed but with a smile and some pats on the back from other members of our group emerged no worse for wear ready for the next crossing. which I accomplished in more competent fashion

Highly recommended hiking adventure! - Outstanding experience hiking in the rainforest. George was an outstanding guide - very knowledgeable and fun. Many great photo opportunities as well as swimming and jumping off a cliff (optional of course!). Highly recommended!

Beautiful waterfalls w great guide - Probably my favorite excursion while cruising on Pride of America. Kimo was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and fun. He was also very thoughtful with those who weren't as ready for that level of activity. Beautiful waterfalls.

Great Hike with Kimo! - Our guide, Kimo, made this trip awesome! He clearly loves his job and the island. We saw 4 waterfalls, lots of plants (some of which we even tasted) and even some prawns in the pond. He was great helping those who wanted to jump from the rocks and even better with those of us who were a bit uncertain about jumping. I highly recommend this trip and especially recommend Kimo as your guide!

Great tour and amazing tour guide Kimo! - Absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was Kimo and he was the greatest guide one could ever ask for. He is born and raised in Maui and lived his whole life in a very traditional family, it just makes a huge difference when someone is sharing their transitions from experience oppose to studying it from the books. At least I felt truly exposed to his culture and will forever remember this trip because of this tour. He was super helpful, knowledgeable, sweet, funny and just delightful. Breathtaking waterfalls, flowers, plants, overall amazing tour.
