Beautiful butterflies - If you love butterflies you’d love this. Authentic butterfly farm gives you a chance to see, learn and get in close contact with butterflies and caterpillars. Great place to take photographs. It s a short 45 minutes tour. Expect a hot environment but I guess that is what butterflies need. It may be difficult to find so look for the van with the logo.

Maui butterfly farm tour - This was a wonderful and unexpected experience. We had a great time and learned so many new things about butterflies. They are some of the most beautiful creatures and it was magical seeing them up close. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour for adults and children.

Fun for all ages - A very unique and fun experience in Maui! Not only do you learn about the butterfly life cycle, but also feed them pear nectar. Great fun for all ages! We stopped by a pizza food truck afterwards named Margaritas. Amazing!!

A Magical Adventure - I recently went with 7 of my students to the Maui Butterfly Farm in Olowalu, and we had an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, we were engaged in hands-on and wings-on education and delight. Our main teacher was Rema, and she was excellent, providing education and instructions so that we could gently hold the caterpillars, observe the chrysalis close-up, and for the finale, interact with a diversity of beautiful living, fluttering butterflies! We were transformed by our intimate contact with these gorgeous creatures in a safe, natural setting. I highly recommend this experience!

Very neat! Lots of interesting facts - The butterfly tour is a great opportunity to learn about the butterflies here in Hawaii. It is a farm because everything was grown there. I just think it is really neat how many butterflies were just so friendly wanted to come to you!

Fun and informative - We visited on a Tuesday at 11:30. We made a reservation for our visit as is recommended. We had the best time. Very fun and interactive. A must see on Maui.

Butterfly love - This is a wonderful tour with amazingly friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. We loved it! (Even my 15 year old son said it was great... that says a lot)

Must see!! - Must see if you visiting Maui with kids. Knowledgeable guide who understood her audience and gauged the tour towards the younger children in the group. Great hands on experience! Fun for all ages in the group! Being able to hold caterpillars, butterflies & even a praying mantis was a memorable experience!

NOT worth the money spent but an interesting experience. - It was an interesting experience but definitely NOT worth $50/person. The most, I’d pay $10. You walk in to a small fenced in yard, the person talks about stages of butterfly development, shows you caterpillars and eggs, then shows you mostly the same type of butterfly in two tents and some pet her insects. That’s it. Very quick and easy. NOT worth $50/person but an interesting experience.
