Road to Hana was beautiful - Despite drizzly rain, the trip to Hana was wonderful. The lush rainforest, many waterfalls and the black sand beach were highlights. Our driver Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a ton about Hawaiian and Polynesian culture.

An Epic Road to Hana Adventure - I had the best time with James as the driver & guide. He was an excellent driver and obviously knew the road. He made the day better with his background stories and wonderful personality. I highly recommend taking this tour that regardless to its length went quickly. Full disclosure: I am a concierge and went on this trip to experience it as a guest, since I’ve driven myself & been with a friend on a similar trip. Having a guide who knows the “secrets “ of the trip was the absolute best! If I were a tourist, this would have to be the adventure on my list of places & things to do on Maui - with a guide. Since Hana & Beyond has been guiding this tour for years with drivers who grew up on island , they truly can provide a better experience than others. Respect the locals & land

Excellent trip! - Sean was excellent. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the stops. He always was asking if we were okay as some have gotten a bit car sick in the past. Excellent trip!

Ohana - treated like family - James was absolutely the best tour guide we’ve ever had! He took his time to make the tour a personal experience for everyone. At each stop we took he allowed time for everyone to view the sights and would even play his ukelele for us while we waited back at the van. By the end of this trip everyone in the van felt like family. It was a real Hawaiian adventure.

Sit back and relax - So I’m not saying you can’t drive Hana by yourself, but taking a guided tour was so much better. Yes you wake up early but trust me it’s better that way. With the Guided tour you don’t have to worry about the twist and turns of the road you can sit back and actually enjoy the scenery and listen to the guide talk about everything. Also you don’t have to deal with the traffic. We stopped at a waterfall which we got to swim in. We got to buy banana bread we got to see sea turtles and more. It was amazing. I definitely suggest booking with this company and being able to sit back and enjoy the view and the vibes.

Memorable tour - Doing the road to Hana tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Our tour guide Damien was great. He was a "local boy" and shared so much information about the history of Hana and Hawaii. Learning about Hawaiian culture was the highlight of our trip, let alone the beauty we witnessed! We enjoyed seeing the beauty this island has and will forever cherish this memory. Lunch was very good too! Everything about this trip was 5 star in our book. Highly recommend taking the Tour to Hana in visiting Maui.

My experience of the Road to Hana - It was the first time ever that I did the Road to Hana. Along the way, I really enjoyed the banana bread at the halfway point, seeing the Waterfalls and Eucalyptus trees, and drinking out of a coconut in Nahiku. Also, the experience at Black Sand Beach is interesting as it's all black rocks(unlike the west side of Maui). The tour guide was very friendly, laid back, and informative about sites, history, and activities on the island. So, overall, I enjoyed the sites but not the 600+ curves on the road to Hana. Unless you get motion sickness, I would totally recommend doing the Road to Hana!!!
