Beatiful Road to Hana - This tour was a fabulous experience for the entire family! Our guide, Damien, told many stories about his family and the Hawaiian culture, and about the local history. He had our entire group engaged, and he made sure we got the important photos! The ride was captivating! Damien went above and beyond to give us an experience our family will talk about for years to come!

Best tour ever!!! - The Road to Hana (Hana and Beyond Rain Forest Tour) was amazing! The winding drive up the mountain was great (from my safe seat in the middle of the van🤣)! And we had the best guide Damien, a.k.a “The Local Guy”! The knowledge he shared on the history, culture, people, folklore and all else of Hawaii you could not have gotten anywhere else! This was by far the best small bus group tour I have ever been on! I highly recommend! Oh, and do your research; check the weather before booking! Clear sunny days are best!

Road to Hana - Great day on the Road to Hana! Damian aka "The Local Boy" was an awesome guide and driver. We were entertained, saw amazing scenery and learned about Hawaiian culture and the rainforest. So much better than driving ourselves! Highly recommend!

A wonderful, memorable day - We really enjoyed just sitting and watching the view and not worrying about the many curves. Our driver and guide, Eli, was great. My husband really enjoyed talking story with him and with a couple of the other people in our van. The views were awe-inspiring. It was a wonderful, memorable day.

Let them do the driving! - We loved hearing the special stories of the area, as well as the hidden finds like the little lava tube cave at the black sands park. Thank you, Sean!

Hana amazing trip - Amazing experience and our guide Shean not only told us history of the region but entertained us through whole trip The only thing that I would improve it’s more time at black beach and turtle beach Happy I didn’t have to drive the road to Hana myself

Wonderful tour guide - The black sand beach is so unique. The waves and lava rocks are such great combination. I like the sunbathing turtles and the surfers too.

Toured Hana alone with a small family of four. - Awesome knowledgeable tour guide that was raised in Hana. Full nature girl and knew the ends and outs of Hana and took care of the guest well.

Road to Hana - Sean was a great tour director/driver. Made an effort to connect with all of us and remember specifics about each family on the tour. He did a wonderful job of explaining the history and anecdotal stories along the way. We were able to stop and see some of the attractions that we would’ve missed if we’d tried the drive on our own.

Dissapointed - I will say that the tour itself is one to take if you are in Maui, the breathtaking views while on the road, the several waterfalls, the black sand beach, the visit to the turtles and of course the stop for banana bread at Auntie Sandy's, that yes... it was the best banana bread I ever had. We made the most important stops, part of the road was closed due to a mud/rock slide, but we still could make it. My rating is due to the fact, that we spent the whole tour feeling isolated on the back of the van, as there was no microphone and the guide/driver (local young lady), was interacting, commenting and answering questions to those closer to her. She explained she liked to have her window open, so even more noise and we only were getting bits and pieces of what it felt like great information but not for us. Luckily as the time exiting the van on the stops, we were "reminded" of the time to be back, she stayed away from the group by the van on her phone not coming with us at any point. Having just finished the volcano tour at the Big Island, with an "all hands on deck" guide using a microphone, this was a big let down. Not the driver's fault the van had no microphone, but she could at least have asked if we could hear in the back.
