Whale watching was wonderful! - This was the best whale watch we have been on yet! Shasta and Derek were so fun and informative! Great fun in Maui for our family!

A Pleasant and Unexpected Surprise - We had done a sunset cruise a couple days before with a different company and didn’t get to see any whales. This was one of our main objectives when visiting Maui and since this itch hadn’t been scratched, we were looking for another tour. We stumbled upon Magic Merman while walking through Whaler’s Village and decided to give them a chance. We had a great time and were able to see spinner dolphins along with several whales. The crew was amazing and Shasta was a wealth of knowledge about all things Hawai’i. The raft we were on was the perfect size for a more intimate experience and didn’t feel crowded at all. We even got to meet the owners and they were both great guys. Couldn’t recommend this experience enough and would definitely go again if ever return to Maui.

Whale watching experience - We had an amazing time with eco-adventure. Zach and Meredith were very knowledgeable about the humpback whales. We learned so much about the interactions that were happening between the whales we saw and also migration patterns of the whales.

Great experience - Third year in a row on this boat. The first two were snorkeling trips and this one was whale watching. I highly recommend this company. Everyone is great and the small groups are perfect.

Maui Whale Experience - The team from signing up to the tour were amazing, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The experience was great. We saw whales and the boat ride was great. I would highly recommend this company 👌.

Mugged by whales…and we loved it! - What an amazing time! The crew was super knowledgeable and gave us plenty of interesting facts about the whales. They even got us up close to several groups…including one whale coming right up to the boat. We went in the morning after the sun came up so it felt like the whales were super active and getting the day started. It was nice being on a smaller boat with a smaller group of people as everyone was able to see everything. We would definitely recommend!

Awesome tour! - Great experience. The guys were super friendly and knowledgeable! They were also conscientious of the environmental recommendations.

In awe of the beauty. - I took two different whale watching charters while in Maui (because I have a 3 year old and the smaller boat is not suitable for small children). The Magic Merman was incredible and I would HIGHLY recommend them. They make you feel safe on the small tender you take to the larger boat, and are so knowledgable about everything with the whales. We had a lot of whales come close to our boat, and one that presented her baby to us. It was truly a magical experience I will for sure be riding with them again if we make it back to Maui.
