Lots of fun and able to see more than driving! - Rented electric bikes for first time and was a little nervous at first taking them out on the main road with fast traffic at first but actually there were wide shoulders and designated bike lanes to get to Kapalua. Once there it was a great ride through Kapalua with time for a nice lunch. Bikes were great and a lot of fun.

Great ride but our rentals bikes had issues - The bike ride to Kapalua and Makaluapuna Point was great and having the e-bikes was nice for a few hills along the way. Only issues we had were with one of the bikes that the battery ran out about 10 miles into our ride and it made it even harder when it died. Staying on the wide shoulder road was nice and exploring the area by the no-longer-used golf course was nice too. Another problem was the seat of the other bike broke and was flopping around. Give yourself time to explore Kapalua and it would be worth it but was somewhat overshadowed by equipment problems.

Challenging! - We met a few challenges along the way, but the customer service was exceptional. I would definitely attempt the experience again.
