The whales’ conduct during your excursion could allow you to witness various activities such as the whales striking the water surface with their extensive side fins known as pectoral fins, with their tail or ‘flukes’, the peduncle that is the muscle connecting the tail to the body, and the spectacular ‘breach’ where the whale thoroughly surfaces out of water and crashes back into it.

Whales in late April!! - We got lucky and saw a bunch of whales even though we knew it would be unlikely this late in the season. Our guides were great, the boat was comfortable and roomy. Not too far into the tour we came upon several male humpbacks chasing a female. They were kind rough housing with each other to get her attention! We've done several other whale watching trips and this one was top notch! Definitely recommend this tour and company!

Great whale watching experience - The Quicksilver needed repairs and we were transferred to the Calypso. The trip itself was great. The excursion was well done and the whales showed up in a big way. You never know what you're going to get with a whale watching tour but these guys seem like professionals and Hawaii has definitely got their share of humpbacks. Would do it again.

Great experience - It was a great experience. Everything from boarding the boat and the ride went smoothly. The crew was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t get a best site of whales during our visit. The crew really tried but I think the timing was not great to see those magnificent creatures out and about. We will try it in another time for sure.

Great time.. great Captain... - Great time. The captain was very informative on the whales and keep the boat engaged with fun facts and questions from the group. Also got us on a family of whales several times during the trip.

Lovely tour!! Great staff and awesome sightings! - From beginning to end the crew and Captain took great care of us! The easiness of getting on board and getting settled was great for my family of four (2 kids under 3). We were able to see multiple whales, even this late in the season. The captain gave us some good lessons and history on the whales as well we learned a lot! Would recommend this tour for sure and we enjoyed our experience!

Tour canceled without notice, but rescheduled one was great! - Tour itself was great! Boat and accommodations were great! However, frustrating that our tour was canceled and we did not know until we showed up trying to figure out where to go. We were told once we there we could reschedule, after we paid for parking and after we woke up 3 kids under 4 to be there at 7:30 am. But once we were on the boat, staff was friendly and the kids had a great time on the boat and finding whales!

Impressive excursion - A wonderful trip, despite the end of whale season we were able to see some whales. We were well looked after with non-alcoholic drinks.

Not impressed with tour - Almost miss the boat ride. The boat name was change. No follow up email or notifications. Details was to wait at the store and not the boat dock. Need to correct information for tour. Whale was present. But not impressed with guide and fake whale noises.
