This is an open ocean activity that takes place in the calm, shallow water of Makena Bay. All guests must be over 6 years old and comfortable swimming in the ocean.

All lessons are conducted in the tranquil, shallow, and safeguarded Makena Bay waters in South Maui, offering breathtaking coastal views of Haleakala, Molokini, Pu’u O’lai, and the nearby islands!

For kids: tail sizes are 6, 8, and 10.
For adults: tail sizes range from XS, S, M, L, to XL
For kids: monofin sizes cover 1-4 (Junior sizes 9 -13, with neoprene socks included).
For adults: monofin sizes are Men’s US 6 – 11.5 / Women’s: US 4.5 - 10.
