Starting September 15, 2024, this activity is 3 hours. This unforgettable 3-hour excursion takes you to two of Maui’s most treasured snorkeling locations – Molokini Crater and Turtle Town.
Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of Molokini Crater, home to hundreds of vibrant fish species, starfish, rays, and more. Our knowledgeable crew will provide a safety briefing and assist with fitting your snorkeling gear, ensuring your comfort throughout the journey. Floatation devices are also available to enhance your swimming experience.
Next, journey to Turtle Town, where you’ll encounter Hawaii’s magnificent green sea turtles (Honu) alongside reef triggerfish, butterfly fish, octopus, and other captivating marine life. Every trip is unique, guaranteeing a one-of-a-kind adventure for you and your loved ones.

Snorkeling with this... - Snorkeling with this group was absolutely amazing! Joe and Lucia were fantastic guides and were great with everyone on the boat. I am personally not very comfortable swimming especially in deep water with a current but Lucia and Joe made sure to take their time with us and supplied plenty of floatation devices that helped make us comfortable. The water was crystal clear and we could see plenty of fish and turtles at both locations.
I would recommend this experience in a heart beat!

Amazing! - Amazing trip!! Joe and Lucia were fantastic and made the whole day super fun and comfortable. We even spent extra time when we came across a huge pod of dolphins swimming alongside our boat! Would recommend

Don't miss this one! - One of the last "mom and pop" companies offering these kind of tours. They were fantastic! We started with the turtles (and were the only ones there!!) before heading to the crater. Our guides were genius for going to the turtles first, while the other tours were out at the crater. When we went out to the crater there were only 2 other boats... no crowd! The water was so blue and clear... almost surreal. They provide all the gear and a nice lunch. Could not have been happier with this experience.

Don't miss this tour - After two snorkling tours on the big island, we flew out to Maui, where we booked a charter to Molokini Crater. We had an early launch at 7am, but it proved to be an ideal time as conditions turned out perfectly for our tour. After 45 min at Molokini Crater, we made another stop - to swim with sea turtles. And we weren't disappointed. What an amazing experience!
What made this tour our favorite of three tours we did was our captain and crew: Joe and Lucia. They were informative, friendly and just gave the whole trip a great vibe. This is a small charter company and it felt good to support a local business rather than one of the larger corporate charter companies. Highly recommend!

Great experience!!! - Joe & Jess were great and the spots they took us to had tons of beautiful fish and turtles. They fostered a fun environment on the boat. Jess is a marine biologist and answered our questions with a lot of detail and enthusiasm. That made the experience so much more interesting! Definitely recommend.

Perfect snorkeling morning - Joe and Jess were awesome, they made our morning snorkeling so much fun. They definitely knew what they were doing, were so knowledgeable, extremely hospitable, and we had a wonderful trip start to finish. They took us to 2 amazing spots and it was an adventure my husband and I will remember forever.

Wonderful snorkeling and guides!!! - Jess and Joe were so fun, experienced knowledgeable, and overall made this such a wonderful experience!
This was my first time snorkeling, and I got a little nauseous midway through the trip and felt I was in very good hands as Jess helped me with both. Seeing all the fish, eels, turtles, and eagle rays was so, so cool and will be a fond memory for years to come!

Great Experience and Charter - Great experience and charter! Joe and Lucia were fantastic guides providing helpful tips for snorkeling and a few anecdotes about the scenery and local history. We are generally not huge fans of group activities/charters like this but really enjoyed the fun and laid back atmosphere they created. Incredible snorkeling. Professional experience and would highly recommend for anyone in Maui.

Highlight of our Maui trip! - My 20 yo son and I went snorkeling with Makena Coast Charters from Kihei. There were 16 people on our red raft/boat and we went to Turtle Town first (departed at 7 am). We were the only ones snorkeling and were very close to many turtles! This was the highlight of our trip. We then headed to Molokini Crater and saw a lot of different fish. Joe and Lucia were great and very patient with everyone. I would highly recommend this organization for an amazing and more intimate snorkeling experience!
