Setting Sail on the Malolo

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I made my way to the dock, the salty breeze already whispering promises of adventure. As we explored, we encountered two large black and white moray eels with striking lime green heads. Their sinuous movements were mesmerizing, a testament to the ocean’s hidden wonders. Back on the Malolo, we enjoyed a hearty lunch of turkey and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, the perfect fuel for our oceanic escapades.

The journey back turned into an unexpected whale-watching tour. A female humpback and her calf graced us with their presence, accompanied by a male escort. It was a breathtaking sight, a reminder of the ocean’s grandeur and the interconnectedness of its inhabitants.

The wind picked up as we sailed back to the dock, the Malolo skimming over the white-capped waves with ease. As we disembarked, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the day’s adventures and the ocean’s endless gifts.
