Highlight of our Trip - We enjoy Sail Maui every time we go to Maui. In fact we started going when it was Paragon Sailing. Although it's the sailing we enjoy the most, this time the wind did not cooperate (there was none) but the captain changed tack to give us the best whale show. Kind, courteous and knowledgeable crew, we always feel like we are in good hands aboard their sailing vessels. The boats are never crowded and the lunch was superb catered by Fork & Salad - a great restaurant.

Great time! - Had a great time on this whale watch. We were surrounded by whales. We didn't have to go very far, which was nice. The staff was nice and friendly.

I've been visiting Maui for years and have taken countless tours (probably 30 or so with 6-8 different companies!), and I can honestly say Sail Maui's snorkel and whale watch on February 7, 2025, was one of the best experiences I've had. From start to finish, the entire crew exuded the true spirit of Aloha. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. A special shout-out to Dakota and James, who went above and beyond to take care of all the guests. Their attentiveness and positive energy really made the trip special. And our captain? Absolutely brilliant! They were a whale-whisperer! They expertly navigated the waters and kept us in prime position to witness some truly breathtaking whale activity. We saw so many whales, and the captain's knowledge and enthusiasm added so much to the experience. The snorkeling was also fantastic, with great equipment and a beautiful location. But it was the combination of the incredible whale sightings and the exceptional crew that truly set Sail Maui apart. They're in the top echelon of Maui tour operators, doing everything right with genuine Aloha style. If you're looking for an unforgettable whale watching or snorkel tour on Maui, I wholeheartedly recommend Sail Maui. You won't be disappointed!

Sail Maui, the best to Molokini!! - We went on the Molokini snorkel and performance Sail last Monday. Our crew was Captain Brandon, Jade and Lilly. We had a great time! The crew and Captain were knowledgeable and friendly. The weather was perfect for the snorkeling and the wind picked up in the late morning and we had a beautiful time under sail. We recommend Sail Maui highly!

Small group molokini trip with whale watching - Amazing snorkel trip to Molokini crater with tons of whale watching and sailing on return trip. Loved the smaller vessel, smaller group and personalized feel. A 10/10 crew including Brandon, Lily and Jade! Sail Maui was very accommodating for our large group with rescheduling and refunds due to weather.

Amazing! - Absolutely amazing! The sunset sail was so much fun, chasing whales was absolutely stunning! Open bar and such great appetizers. The crew guys did a really great job!

Recommended! - We had a great snorkeling trip out to Molokini, thanks to Captain Brandon and his crew. We were fortunate that the whales were active that day, on the trip to and from Molokini. Brandon made sure to navigate towards them so we had great views of breaching, flipper waves and other activities. The snorkeling at Molokini is great, clear water, lots of fish, sea urchins, and interesting coral. On the way back the crew raised the sails and gave it a try but the winds were quite calm. But everyone enjoyed the quiet, taking in the amazing beauty of this place. I highly recommend supporting this small business.

Mid day whale tour! - This was a great trip, the weather was bad the 22nd so they called on 21st to cancel, yet was able to get in the 23rd.. All the crew were very attentive and nice! The food items were good, especially the GF cookies!! The best part we seen a whale do full breach! Plus, sing, then right by the boat!! It was a beautiful day!!

Worth every penny! - We booked this excursion last minute and all had a great time. The crew was fun, knowledgeable, and very approachable. The captain was able to locate several whales nearby and so we were able to see them swimming and jumping out of the water. We even got to hear the whales talking with a neat little device that was placed in the water. The sunset at the end of the trip was absolutely stunning. Definitely a must do while in Maui
