A great day for a good price, close to the Norwegian Cruise port! - Our driver, Roger, was very personable and gave great commentary throughout the long journey. The van was cool and comfortable (we had a smaller group than normal so lots of extra space). So many great spots, especially the black sand beach and waterfalls, with plenty of time allowed to swim and explore. The pickup spot was a bit of a walk from the cruise port (more like 15 minutes), but not difficult to find. This trip was well worth it, especially considering the cost was less than half of the similar cruise-sponsored version.

Great Driver on Road to Hana - The driver Quinn was informative additionally gave lots of history and stories of the island. He was very concerned over customers, possibly getting Motion sickness and always asked if everyone was OK.

Best RTH tour EVER!! - 5/5 awesome tour! We stopped at so many places, I’m so glad that I booked this tour and left the driving to them. Roger was an excellent guide and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I would book with them again, absolutely an amazing experience!

Highly recommend! - Great experience with Eric! Eric was so knowledgeable about the island and its history while being so attentive to guests and their needs. Eric even showed us how to climb up the side of a waterfall to jump into the pool and was always offering to take pictures!

Lava tube - Owen was an awesome tour guide! Most memorable was going in the lava tube at black sands beach. Had never done that and i once lived on Oahu Island for 3 1/2 years. I thought that stop was the best! Too bad they only allow tours an hour.

Amazing - We loved the black sand beach and aunty's Sandy's banana bread. But our guide, Dom was amazing with his history and story telling. He was very knowledgeable about all things Maui. We had just enough time at each spot.

Famous Road to Hana tour Was No Go - I wish I could say how amazing and enjoyable that that trip was. But I can’t because I’ve got a phone call from the Famous Road to Hana Mercedes van and told me that the day I booked had no other group or people to take on a journey. The representative told me I can change the date or cancel if I don’t want take a chance and wait until that and see anyone else book a tour. Well I couldn’t take that chance as well I had had other plans for deferent dates, tee time for playing golf, reservations for restaurants that have limited open tables, etc. There weren’t any available spots to schedule with others because the date was too close the tour day. So unfortunately, I bet get to experience the famous Road to Hana. All thanks to Famous Road to Hana Mercedes van. So, anyone who are looking for this tour, should aware about a possibility of this situation.

Walk To Hana before you decide to tour with this Company. Safety is not there top priority, Dollar signs are! - Hello. According to Quinn Schroeder, the driver, the alternator and battery light illuminated the dash before the tour began and notified management, Due to proper precautions not being taken, the van we were in not only broke down, the air conditioning stopped working multiple times throughout the tour. The well being of the guests was not considered knowing that the route that was being taken would not allow for cell service or any type of assistance in the ten hour trek alongside a mountain. We were without AC for so long the 80 year old man on the bus was sweating profusely. The title of the tour states “luxury tour to Road to Hana” The vehicle we were in was very outdated and should have been replaced at the start of the tour to ensure the safety of all Guests on board. Submitting a refund in full was denied by Mark Weiner, the manager. > > Let me add that once broken down, we were taken dangerously from One van to the other in the middle of the road with barely any room to walk on a very hazardous busy roadway. He then threatened to charge us for eating and drinking on the van and not picking up after ourselves! Im sorry what were we supposed to do while broken down and having a heat stroke? Was I supposed to worry about pick up a bag of chips and water bottle while exiting the van into a dangerous roadway with my three children? Unacceptable. Do any other tour besides them, it is about dollar signs only and not our safety. They neglected to put all 14 guests into a safe vehicle for a 10 hour trek alongside a mountain that would not allow for cell service. Not worth it, you can do this tour without them. Very easy and you won't be on a time crunch. Let me add that they do not make many stops and when they do, it is for a few minutes. There lunches provided were gas station sandwiches only. >
