Highlight of our Maui Visit! - We debated about driving the RTH on our own, but we definitely made the right choice with Valley Isle Excursions. Our driver, Travis, was stellar! Everyone in our group felt very comfortable with him driving, and we learned more about Hawai’i from him in one day than we learned in our previous 9 days on the islands. He is from Hāna, so he’s very knowledgeable, with a great personality and sense of humor. He was able to share island traditions, beliefs & history. Travis stopped at every location we wanted to see and then some. I would give him 10 stars if I could! Highly, highly recommend this tour company and Travis.

Don’t drive, take the tour. (Best tour ever) - My wife and I had a fantastic day enjoying the road to Hana tour. Travis truly treated us like Ohana, driving flawlessly while giving us a great tour of the road, the history of Hawaii, and telling us about himself as a native. It truly was a memorable experience we will remember from our honeymoon for the rest of our lives. Mahalo, Travis!

Beautiful…..loved our driver, Daniel! - We thought this tour was the greatest! Our driver Daniel was very cautious navigating us through the hairpin turns and one lane bridges … he gave us great information as we drove along. He answered all of our questions.and talked to us with enthusiasm and was making sure we all were enjoying ourselves. The breakfast at the plantation was very enjoyable… beautiful. Lunch was fun and delicious. We will never forget our experience. If you are thinking of driving … think carefully…. It will be tough to watch your road and sight see at the same time. Let Daniel drive you! It is soooo worth it!

Leave it to the professionals! - It was amazing to experience the rainforest and mountains along the road to Hana with many waterfalls and scenic views. The hairpin turns and one way bridges are better left to the professionals!! Our experience was wonderful. Charleston what a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and has a great personality making all feel very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!

Great Tour with Paula from Valley Isle - We really enjoyed our tour with Valley Isle. This was a great stress - free way to enjoy the beautiful Road to Hana. Our guide Paula was a GREAT driver and provided commentary throughout the tour and she also was so enthusiastic about providing everyone a great time. The food served during the day was wonderful as well. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a stress free Hana experience!

Stress free, super Hana tour. - We were very happy with our decision to tour rather than drive ourselves, and our Valley Isle tour guide Paula helped make this our favorite excursion of several this week. The seats in the vehicle were comfy, the large glass windows allowed for great site lines, and Paula passed on a wealth of historical knowledge and fun facts we'd never have known about. There is no way possible to soak up the spectacular scenery and hit the important spots imstress free, diy. Paula even gave great advice on photo setups. Top notch!

Well worth it! - The Road to Hana is one of the things you must do on a visit to Hawaii. I highly recommend this guided tour so that you can really enjoy it and understand what you are seeing. Our guide was Uncle Joe and he knows EVERYTHING about the area and made the journey interesting and enjoyable. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel and enjoyed a both breakfast and lunch on the journey. The road has lots of twists and turns so if you tend to have motion sickness you should plan on taking something for that. I used the prescription patch and had no issues.
In short, this tour is well worth the money and I highly recommend. Thanks Uncle Joe!

Excellent Drivers - The driver named Charleston was top of the line. Nickname him “The Boss” 🚗 Road to Hana is a difficult job for drivers but Charleston made us feel very safe. His knowledge of the culture in Maui is the best

A once in a lifetime tour - We had an awesome driver/ tour guide, Charleston. He made the trip interesting and fun. The road is very winding which can cause some car sickness but the beauty of the scenery makes up for it. Breakfast and lunch were very good.
