An amazing day - My husband (71) and I (66) went on this tour with Paula as our guide December 11. It was a long day but a fantastic one! Along with all of the beautiful sights - rain forest, roaring surf, waterfalls- we had the pleasure of hearing all about the history and culture of Maui as well as its natural wonders. Paula is one of the kindest tour guides we have ever met! She always made sure everyone was comfortable and had what we needed. On the way home to Ka’anapali she shared tragic and heroic stories of the devastating fire in Lahaina. It was a bittersweet ending to an amazing day. Thank you Paula!

Let Daniel drive and you will be safe. - I'm so happy I didn't drive this. Daniel (Super Guide) gave us so much information, we wouldn't have known. He answered every question. We stopped at a bunch of cool places. Banana bread, yes please, great beaches, plenty of we'll timed restrooms, swimming at black sand beach with lava tube (another perfect suggestion from Daniel), swimming in and under a waterfall and more and more. I felt safe always and we had a short safety brief to help. This is worth the money. Thank you Daniel, you made our trip.

Amazing Road to Hāna - My husband and I booked this as part of our honeymoon and we loved it! Daniel was amazing as our guide and driver- he had so much knowledge and was eager to answer all our questions. We both loved all the stops including the black sand beach and dip in the waterfall! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an excursion in Maui!

Excellent Experience on the Road to Hana with Travis / Valley Isle!!!! - The 11 hour tour to Hana was educational, fun, and taught me a lot about local practices & the real Hawaii. Travis went out of his way to make it a great experience for everyone in the group. Travis is a safe driver & excellent tour guide!!!
The waterfalls were phenomenal & so was the singing! Aunty Sandy’s warm banana bread was an extra treat, as were the visits to other local businesses. And seeing the sea turtles was the perfect ending to a very special day!!! I highly recommend this tour.

Road to Hana tour - highly recommend - Our Road to Hana trip was amazing. Travis was our driver and I highly recommend him. He had great stories, provided some island history and was very helpful with all of us. We made several stops along the way, getting local souvenirs as well as baked goods - Banana Bread was delicious as well as the Ube cookies. The skill of his driving on the road was very comforting as the road is narrow in many spots. The lunch was delicious. But the best part was swimming under the waterfall.

Learn and laugh your way to Hana - I didn’t expect how much I would learn and enjoy ! Our guide Charleston, who is also an accomplished driver, told us so many interesting things about the flora and the culture along the way. And he knew all the hidden spots to see waterfalls and lava tubes. The guide and the passengers were so friendly and easy to relax with, such a great day. Highlights were the stops for breakfast, banana bread, & lunch, but especially the swim on the black sand beach and in one of the waterfalls. Charleston kept us laughing with stories and relaxed with his easy going nature. I definitely recommend it if you want a day of no worries and entertaining education.

Road to Hana - My boyfriend and I had a great time... we saw some amazing places that we definitely would not of seen had we not gone on this excursion. Ke'anae peninsula and Wai'anapanapa state park had some breathtaking views. A shout out to Apa for lots of fun facts during our tour and a great time. He actually threw in a bonus stop (Ho'okipa beach park) where we were able to see 9 enormous turtles sun bathing on the beach and a double rainbow. A perfect ending to a fun day.

Fun day - Tour was worth the money to not drive and to have pro tips on what to see and do. Paula was a great guide, van was comfortable, food was good. Plenty of stops. Some confusion about pick up time and location, so be sure you are clear.

Must Go on the "Road to Hana" Tour - What a fantastic tour it was! It was amazing! Our tour guide and driver, Paula, was great. Paula was personable and knowledgeable, taught us so much about history and culture, and was an exceptional driver. There are many, many turns. If you plan on driving the road yourself, which you can, you better resolve by not looking at the beauty on the sides of the road. Must pay close attention to the road and all the turns; only one car passes the bridge at a time, and there are many bridges to pass. We were planning on driving, but I am so glad we finally decided to take this tour. Without a guide, we would have missed a lot. The sights are so beautiful. We were picked up early in the morning. Had a light breakfast at Maui Tropical Plantation. With all the twists and turns of the road, one doesn’t want to have a heavy breakfast. We had the tasty huli huli chicken for lunch, a stop at the famous Aunty Sandy's Banana Bread along the way, the breathtaking views of the waterfalls, and, on the way back, Paula took us to see the sea turtles resting on the beach. The only reason I am giving this review a 4-star instead of a 5-star is that the mic and speaker system need to be upgraded or at least fixed. Unfortunately, her connection kept cutting off, and the sound was more muffled than clear. Otherwise, the tour is a 5-star, and I highly recommend if you are in Maui at least once in your life, take this tour.
