Wonderful Day Exploring! - We had a great day, our tour guide Colten was awesome and really tailored the trip to what our family would enjoy! Went to so many great spots with amazing views, food, beaches, and waterfalls where you could cliff jump- highlight for kids ;-) Owner was great to work with in booking trip as well. Highly recommend!!

BEST FAMILY DAY EVER!!!!!! - The ABSOLUTE BEST family tour day of our lives!!!! Marty (owner) went above and beyond even before our tour - while doing our pre-planning for customized full day Hana. He spent time on the phone with me, emails/texts - so patient and answering all my questions. This was a huge bucket list day for my husband/I, 3 children (ages 11, 11, and 9) and what we were most looking forward to while in Maui!! Been blessed to do private tours for 20 years and honestly Marty is right up there with the VERY best!!! He delivers in all aspects - making sure you see what you want/on your timeline/great with kids - just a fantastic personality and incredibly knowledgeable!! My kids literally got to do more "firsts" things in their lives in 1 day and see more unique things then I think we have done in years!! We were so sad to leave him at the end of the day - he felt like family and I would never want to do Hana without him!! Just an absolute outstanding guy and guide!!!! (Also took great pics for us!!!) Amazing day on the road to Hana! - Awesome tour! We were asked before the trip who was going and to give information about who was going. My parents are elderly and have issues with walking over rough terrain. Our tour guide (Will) was amazing! As he drove, he explained what we were seeing and included interesting historical tidbits. He found a shaded area for my parents to sit while we explored a lava tube, saw a black sand beach and a blow hole. He called ahead to have fresh banana bread ready for my parents. He was a calm, safe and responsible driver the entire time of our tour. He took beautiful pictures for us documenting the different locations (bamboo forest, waterfalls, red/black sand beach, enjoying coconut ice cream, rainbow eucalyptus trees, lava tubes, rough/sharp lava beach, etc) and sent them to us after our trip. This experience gave my family and I a great appreciation for the Hawaiian history and ecology. We are so glad we booked this private tour, it was well worth it!!!!!

Amazing All-Fun, Worry-Free Day! - We had heard great things about the owner Marty and had planned to go with him but he had a conflict and we were with Zak who was fantastic. What's nice is you don't have to worry about driving OR about deciding where/when to stop along the road. Just tell them what you are interested in seeing/doing and they'll make good stops. Zak took my boys cliff jumping in two different places -- first a smaller 10 ft jump and once he saw they could do those, he took them later on to a 25 ft jump. Highlight of their entire Hawaii trip. We also went to the famous banana bread stand, ate yummy food, saw waterfalls, played at the beach, saw both black sand and red sand beaches, rainbow trees, bamboo forest, etc. Definitely a fantastic day and worth the $ for the guide/driver in my opinion.

The tour (and tour guide) you don't want to miss! - Our family of 3 had the pleasure of having Marty as our guide for the Road to Hana tour last month. From start to finish, both the tour and Marty himself exceeded our expectations at every turn (and, on the Road to Hana, there are several!) Marty is one of the most thoughtful, kind, and generous people you could hope to meet. He has a way of instantly making you feel like 'Ohana, and it shows in both his actions and words. Whether sharing Hawaiian ice cream, indulging in Aunty Sandy's banana bread, cliff jumping, meeting "Braddah Eddie," or exploring caves, black/red sand beaches, and rainbow bamboos, Marty showed us the time of our lives. He really embraces the Aloha spirit, and his knowledge of the 'Aina and the Hawaiian culture, coupled with his warm, caring, outgoing personality turned what could have been a very long day into one we were sad to see end! He not only made our tour memorable, but the highlight of our time on the island. We have taken many tours in the past, and this one by far exceeded the others in every possible way. If you find yourself lucky enough to visit Maui, do not hesitate to book with Maui Tour Company. It will be the best decision you make, and give you a lifetime of memories to take back home. Vacation Visit - BEST DECISION EVER!!! We booked this knowing my husband of 31 years, who had driven this 31 years prior, wouldn't be able to drive this again. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids, (17, 20, & 24). No way would we have had an experience like this on our own. From start to finish it was absolutely perfectly tailored to all of us. I can't say enough about Marty, he was perfect. We felt like we were the only ones that have ever taken this tour. We saw and experienced so many different things. From the waterfalls and swimming behind them, to cliff diving, to short nature treks, to tasting the local cuisine, experiencing different beaches, and learning about Hawaiian culture. PERFECT experience not to be missed.

Just Book It Now. - I cannot speak highly enough of this tour and the people who run it. Do not rent a bus tour. Do not go on your own. Take a trip with this amazing company who truly wants to give you the best experience there is to offer. Do your research ahead of time to find the areas that you would like to spend time at, but also know that these guides are extremely knowledgeable and will take care of you! Zak was our guide and he spent all day answering any questions that we had (and there were a lot) while tailoring the experience specifically to us. Truly this could be more expensive than it actually is, but they care about your experience and sharing the island and culture more than "the money". Make sure to tip well. If you are worried about the vehicles or safety. The vans are spacious and comfortable and they take every caution they can in driving the road.

Great Day! - Zak was our tour guide for the day and was so knowledgeable. We could ask him anything and he knew Hawaiian history backwards and forwards. Beautiful scenery and overall a great trip!

Great day trip - This was an awesome way to do the Road to Hana. There is no way we ever would have known to go to all these spots off the beaten track. Our guide was great and let us decide what we wanted to do. Our teenagers loved cliff jumping, swimming into caves, and some rock climbing and hiking. The beaches were also super cool. This was well worth it and although it was not the most active day we had, it was definitely the way to do the Road to Hana.

Great Tour with an Amazing Guide! - Our tour guide, Zak, was very personable and knowledgeable that he made our trip fun and interesting. We did all the typical stops, but was also able to customized the tour with our own ‘must see’ list, like the black and red sand beaches and the lava tube, which he did 2x at my 10 year old son’s request. He also knew all the best spots to make our experience feel exclusive- we were the only ones swimming at multiple waterfalls, he took down mountains apples for us, pulled ginger plants for us to see/ smell, and cut coconut for my elderly mother to taste. His personal experience living and visiting many different parts of the world enhanced our conversation and made the tour educational too. Bonus was that he has a great eye for photography. He offered to take pictures for us at all the stops and it all turns out great! The minivan was clean and comfortable for our party of five (3 adults and 2 kids). Large windows in the back was great for visibility. We are glad we hired Maui Tour Company and highly recommend them and Zak.
