Our small group 2 hour whale watch trips depart from Mala Ramp, conveniently located in the heart of Lahaina town. The boat travels to the calm waters of the Maui Nui whale sanctuary off Lahaina where the humpbacks spend the winter mating and giving birth. All trips from December - April are guaranteed to see whales or you go again for FREE!

Our comfortable raft provides you with a safe, intimate, front row seat as you enjoy whale watching action and educational talks from our marine naturalist.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure at as we will walk the short distance from our shop to the dock 5 minutes before the boat leaves. Dive Maui 1223 Front St, Lahaina, HI 96761, right next to Snorkel Bob’s. There is parking in our lot and across the street.

Great company to go with - Best whale watching fun! 2nd time going, captain Jack is so funny and is a great guy! He makes sure we all enjoy the trip out. Val is super cool and is also a marine biologist so he has a lot of great knowledge of the whales and sea life. Book with them and go, you will definitely see a whale!

Absolutely a must do!!! - The small group was well worth it. The crew was very knowledgeable and fun. We were fortunate to watch a “competition pod” for almost the entire trip. Several whales swam under the boat. With the raft and smaller group everyone had a front seat for the show. It was so good we did a second trip which was great too.

Must experience! - Fun experience! Even with it being end of season we still saw a few Whales and a bonus with a swarm of spinning dolphins. Captain and crew were informative and fun.

Frannie and CJ made our sighting fun and informative - We enjoyed our sighting tour with Maui Dive and the staff, Frannie and CJ. Saw the last of the whales in the channel and learned a ton a obout humpbacks and Hawaii. Definitely recommend this tour to get close (within HI limits) and learn more about these amazing creatures. Just the right amount of time too.

Great whale watch! - This was a great whale watching tour! The crew’s knowledge put us in the right spots at the right times for multiple sightings even at the end of the season. Unforgettable whale watching experience! - The whale watching tour was amazing! Even though it was the end of the season we had many whale sightings, including one that breached multiple times. CJ and Renee were awesome tour guides, they really know their stuff.

Amazing experience! - This was a fabulous experience- Brooke and CJ made us feel very comfortable with the outing, and we saw SO MANY WHALES! Everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable and friendly, and we managed to catch a lot of really amazing sights of humpback whales. Absolutely recommend!
