Enjoy the Road to Hana! - Added so much to the experience! We enjoyed every mile of it. Thanks! We’d missed a lot along the way without the trip guide.

Great addition to the Road to Hana drive! - Wife and I aren't tour-group kind of travelers so we decided to use this self-guided tour on the Road to Hana drive. My, oh, my what a great addition to our drive. This self-guided audio tour was the best decision we could've made for this excursion. Really easy to use and packed with loads of info about what we were experiencing on the drive, this audio tour was well worth the small pride we paid for the download. We will now use this medium whenever and wherever we can for any/all driving tours going forward. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect addition to our road trip to Hana - This added so much to our drive tour on the road to Hana. Most sights are otherwise difficult to see had it not been for the narrative. Thanks!

Amazing - Best ever. Give you all the hot spots and you can choose where you want to go and when. It even allows you to decide entry point of Hana. Love it.

Lots of fun! Adventurous! - Great and inexpensive way to enjoy Maui! The twins waterfall and seeing the sea turtles and surfers and waves on the beach was so cool!

Easy to follow, added great value to our drive to Hana! - Found it so easy to follow, fun info and stories! Was easy to get back on track if we detoured and definitely appreciated its offline access as there was no cell signal most of the way. This is our second (we did your Volcanoes National Park and loved that as well). Also appreciated you clarifying when parking areas and turnouts were small via the larger ones and when to look out for them. So well done!

North Maui Bonus Drive - We did the bonus drive of the north end of Maui and it was amazing. Very curvy, and in places a tight drive. Go slow and observe the speed limits. Slow down before going around blind curves. Especially when it narrows down to one lane. There was only one place where we had to maneuver and actually circle around another car but there were half dozen places where we had to pull as close to the edge as possible or squeeze into a divot to let oncoming cars pass. It’s fun but don’t go expecting to hurry unless you don’t want to make it to the other end. You will go over the edge if you’re a wreck less driver. Don’t go on this road in a van or a pickup. It’s too narrow. All that to say, DO IT! The sights were beautiful and amazing. It’s a thrill.

Road to Hana - We enjoyed our trip totally. The commentary along the way was inciteful and not intrusive. We loved the way you could choose to take side trips and the recommendations for photo opportunities as well as food stops etc. Bathroom stops were perhaps needed to be made clearer.

Can’t miss experience - This was a truly memorable experience in driving to Hana. The self driving tour was really a well done tour that would begin a narration as we passed by a site that was part of the tour. Having read other reviews and the prepping from the guide was useful because it helped us to prepare physically and mentally for the drive, which can be both exhilarating and truly scary (because of an occasional aggressive driver, which I learned are probably local). This drive should be your number one activity if you are visiting for the first time because the route covers so many wonderful sites. The only ding I would give is with the app: it doesn’t link with car play and wasn’t easy to download or find from the Viator app, so it took me awhile to eventually download all the files needed for the tour (you can’t access it via WiFi or cell because that service it limited on the drive). Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience and we learned a lot from the self guided tour. Highly recommended!

Delayed App. - We did the Maui Road to Hana from the Airport. After the city of Paia, the app did not work properly. It would narrate about the place after we passed it. I came to know after the fact that I could have stopped at some of the places unfortunately I was informed after we passed and it is not safe to make U-turn on the road. Super disappointed.
