After you've parked (please don't park at the Mala Ramp parking lot, which is for resident trucks and trailers), look for the Jesus Coming Soon sign on Front St and head toward the water. Consider Uber, Lyft or taxis for ease. The Maui Bus stop at the nearby Cannery Mall is an 8-10 min walk.

Captain Emma is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the whales, and her expertise truly sets this tour apart. With over a decade of experience, she has an amazing ability to predict whale behavior, making every moment on the water exciting and engaging.
We’ve been whale watching in Maui for over 10 years, and this was by far one of the best experiences we’ve had. Captain Emma’s enthusiasm is contagious, and she shares fascinating insights about these incredible creatures. Her boat is spacious, shaded, and extremely comfortable, making the trip enjoyable from start to finish.

Love this crew! So many whales!! - Oh my gosh you guys this new outfit is outstanding and everything we could have wanted. A fun but safe trip, enthusiastic crew, lots of whales, the wind in our face blowing the cobwebs away! Captain Emma and first mate Danielle were great at their competence, safety and most of all boundless enthusiasm! We saw breaching whales, mom and calf, tail slaps and perduncle slaps, competition pod and a dolphin teasing the competition pod. The trip was smooth but exciting. Five stars!!

So. MANY. WHALES - This was one of the coolest experiences of my life! The boat was amazing, comfortable and had great views! We were able to see sooo many whales and had the best experience with a sweet but rambunctious calf that was most certainly showing off. Would go with this tour again and again! Meeting their dog, Macy, at the end of the tour was truly the icing on the cake. You will not regret going out on the one and only pink boat!!

Up close whale watch - Great experience. The whales frolicked around the pink boat for over an hour. The crew was very friendly. Highly recommend this adventure.

The perfect whale watching trip for all ages - Three generation family trip, ages 4-60+ all enjoyed the trip very much. The captain(s) were capable, professional, interactive and fun. And we saw lots of whales, up close, no crowds blocking the view.

Best whale watching to date! - We did a total of 3 whale watches with MAA! We had Captain Emma once and captain Chrissy twice! It was such an amazing experience and honor to support a local female owned company that has experienced so many hardships in the past 18 months. We had a mama carry her baby on her nose over to the boat even when her escort was trying to block her! On another adventure, we watched a baby whale practice breaching over and over. The amount of knowledge and kindness we experienced on our adventures make them the best of the best! I cannot wait to return to Maui and adventure with them again! P.S. Reese was amazing as well, and we got adventure twice with her!

Maui Ocean Adventures Has Arrived - We have gone on numerous whale watches over the 8 years we have been visiting Maui. This year we went out with a new company - Maui Ocean Adventures from the Mala Boat Ramp. It was hands- down one of the very best we have ever been on. So great in fact that we have sailed with them 4 times already. Captains Emma and Chrissy, as well as Shannon and Reece are the best. The excitement and enthusiasm that Emma and Shannon have shown on all the trips is unmatched. They are very knowledgeable, professional and completely into finding whales (whale whisperers !!!). They talk about them in an educational way and an entertaining manner so that they make it feel like an intimate family trip on the ocean. They are fully engaged for the couple of hours on the boat and make you want to come back (which we did 😊). Their boat is new and made for whale watching as we saw a few swim under the boat. We did not want it to end. It is remarkable how much fun we had and you will too. Book now with Maui Ocean Adventures. You will be happy you did.

Absolutely incredible - If I could give this tour more stars I would! Absolutely incredible!!! We had a very active tour, the guides were spot on with where the wales were and the full 2 hours were filled with wales playing right by our boat! It was perfect.

Book Maui Ocean Adventures, you won’t be disappointed 😎 - Easy whale watching tour from start to finish. Lahaina business that is recovering post fire, we had a great time! Breaching and fluke slapping made the trip and mother with baby was an added bonus. Look for the pink boat, you’ll have an amazing experience!
