Moreover, you will be on a 65 foot, double deck powered catamaran with capacity limited to 75 passengers (holds 147), so you will have plenty of room to roam around for the best viewing spots of the humpback whales.
Whale sightings are guaranteed or go again free on another whalewatch of equal or lesser value within one year. We are proud of our 97% sighting success rate.

Children 6 and under are free (one child per paying adult). Additional children will pay the youth rate.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
- Our vessels are CASHLESS for purchases. Only credit, debit or digital payment methods with a QR code will be accepted for on board purchases. Cash will graciously be accepted for gratuities only. Mahalo.

Great whalewatching experience! - 100% recommend! The whalewatch experience with PacWhale Eco-Adventures was fantastic. It was a small group, no frills boat but we saw so many whales and learned so much from the naturalist on board. Hopefully we'll be back to do it again.

Best cruise ever - Was our third cruise, and by far this was the best one yet we had an opportunity to see a group of maybe 11 whales swimming together. Evan the crew was impressed and was taking pictures. We'll definitely go back again next year.

An unforgettable experience! - I believe we were on the Ocean Spirit, 7am, on 2/12/24. All crew members did an excellent job. We learned a lot from the narration of the naturalist, and comments by the captain. We were fortunate to see groups of up to 11 whales. Toward the end, a mic was dropped in the water and we heard the whale songs. I highly recommend a tour with PacWhale Eco-Adventures!

Great Whale Watching Experience - The most amazing whale watching. Our guide was one of the scientist at the Pacific Whale Foundation. She was so knowledgeable in explaining the whale migration and behavior patterns. We went right at the beginning of the season, and were still able to see mothers and babies just swimming around our boat. Also, I did rent the binoculars from the Pac Whale shop and they were well worth it.

Great whale watching - Great experience. Saw hundreds of whales. Boat crew was excellent. The boat was clean with comfortable outside seating. Maybe it just happened to be a quiet day but there were only about 30-35 people on the boat which was a bonus.

Whale Watching at its Best - This was our 2nd time on the Ocean Odessy with Joshua, our whale expert. We enjoyed it so much last year we had to go again, it may become an annual adventure. Between the PAC Whale foundation being our host with Joshua as our guide, and a great crew to make everything perfect, it's a wonderful way to see the whales. Every cruise is different since we can't schedule whales. That's why it's so great to have someone telling us about the whales we were seeing. On our cruise there were several pairs of Mommas with baby and lots of single whales. There was one I'm happy to say seemed to hang out for a while.

Highlight of our Maui trip - This was our first PacWhale cruise and it was really outstanding; almost non-stop whale action. While we were of course awed by the natural spectacle, we were also impressed by the fact that the crew seemed at least as genuinely excited as we were, lining up along the railings and snapping pictures with the rest of us (that is when they weren't being friendly, informative, and very helpful serving a tasty lunch). What a great afternoon!

Once in a lifetime - Great day on the water on the bay. Very informative and plenty on whale activity. I like the fact that they keep the boat well below max capacity.

Warning to People with Mobility Limitations - The tour was very good. We saw many whales, some at fairly close range, although it was near the end of the whale watch season. However, we were very disappointed with the arrangements for participants with mobility limitations. Their website says that there is a way to drop off such participants at the boat, but when we checked in early at the office, we were given a little map to the boat slip (about a quarter mile away) and told we could we should start walking -- "get head start". I asked about driving down to the dock, but the woman was not encouraging. I think the messaging about this needs to be clearer.

Lookout for Humpbacks - Very fun. It was exciting to see the whales. And the crew were very nice and full of information about the whales. And just being out there near them was exciting.
