Spectercular touring experience - What a spectacular safari we had! We went on the classic mobile safari camping and choose 12 days outdoor luxury Safari in May 2019 starting in the Okavango Delta, continuing through Moremi and Chobe and concluding at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We went to our Okavango Delta campsite via mokoros (a type of canoe) which were propelled by polers. We camped out in the bush throughout our 11 day safari and spent our evenings listening to the sounds of lions, hyenas and other unidentified animals. All our meals were prepared over a campfire and were delicious and satisfying. There was always a pot of water at the ready for rooibos tea and fresh bread was baked by our chefs Sarah and Secret every day. Our guide TK was excellent. He was very informative, knowledgeable and instructed us on the proper conduct ie. when to stand and when to remain seated. He was adventurous but always prudent about our safety and well being. We had spectacular animal sitings and Tk could pick out the well camouflaged cheetahs and leopard that we might otherwise have missed. And he could identify every animal we saw.
