We've joined the Raggoo Fan club - We stayed at the Victoria Beachcomber resort, where we booked a personal tour of south island with Raggoo. What a knowledgeable, patient and genuine person he is. He took us around the southwest of the island, all the time recounting the history of Mauritius and its people, interspersed with interesting stories and anecdotes. he was flexible on the tour and tailored the trip to suit us. we felt that we had a real feel for the island and saw so many interesting sites. Yes, we did buy some rum at the Rumerie! Thank you Raggoo. Big thanks and a recommendation also goes to Corail Helicopters. We had the 45 minute tour taking in the mountains and the underwater water fall. Just magical. thanks to the staff and the pilot, who all contributed to making it a most extraordinary experience. I would also like to thank Veni, who organised our trips and the transport between hotel and Airport. She took extra care to keep us up to date informed at all times by Whatsapp message.

Successful discovery of a paradise island - Mautourco contributed a lot to the success of our stay, thanks to Kamlesh Choolye, our guide throughout the stay. Wonderful trip a beautiful island - What a truly magical place. Trou Aux Biches is a great resort with some amazing staff who made us feel very special Mautourco organised two trips for us that were both entertaining and informative Our thanks go to Audrey who organised the trips, Jose who captained the catamaran ( he deserves his own TV show ) and especially Javed who gave us a guided tour of the island. He is knowledgeable and truly charming

Good company - During our stay in Mauritius we went on two excursions, both times with this excellent company. The tours are splendid and offer you to learn a lot about the island. In our case we did both tours privately with an Italian speaking private driver. Our driver was Vikram and we couldn't be luckier, he was a perfect and fun guide.

Fantastic service! - We hired a car and did the southern tour eith our guide, Ragu, he was an absolute star and told us everything we wanted to know since the start of the island and all the historical details! it was such a pleasure sharing theday with us!

Great company to book trips and transfers with! - We booked our honeymoon through Kuoni who then organised all private transfers from hotels we stayed at to the airport and all transfers on booked trips through Mautourco. I cannot speak highly enough about all transfers we had during our trip in Mauritius with these lovely people. The drivers made us feel safe while driving and were always offering knowledge and facts about their lovely home and island. We learned so much about Mauritius through all the journeys we had been on and their pride for their country really shone through. We loved learning lots of tit bits of information and asking questions on just about anything to do with Mauritius. As part of a transfer from one hotel to another (Chamarel to Belle Mare), we booked a day with a driver where we were taken to Chamarel waterfall, 7 coloured earth, Black River Gorges, Hindu temple, run distillery and cashmere shop before being dropped off at our next hotel. We got a lot in one day! The driver was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and I particularly liked the fact that we were given some time to explore the sites for ourselves after he told us a bit about them. He also told us what to do and what not to do at each site - handy for tourists in an unknown territory especially at the Hindu temple. We were never forced to buy anything, it was totally our choice to visit local markets and we didn't feel at all pressured to do anything we didn't want to. The trip was completely tailored to our needs. I would highly recommend booking transfers and trips through this company, you'll learn a lot about the country with the best and safest drivers.

Great private tour - Wonderful trip, driver was very helpful and explained a lot about local history and nature. Delicious lunch in restaurant with gorgeous views. We managed to see a lot in one day.

Great driver - Nicholas our driver collected us from the airport to take us to Mauricia Beachcomber Resort and Spa. The car was in great condition and we had a pleasant drive to the North of the island. However, Nicholas our driver, was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge on absolutely every aspect of the island from local cuisine to the flora and fauna made the hour drive go by in an instant. Would ask for him by name next time we visit :)

Escorted tour of south including rum distillery and lunch - We were collected by Raggoo our driver from the Sugar Beach Hotel for a day tour. He took us the south where we saw the waterfalls, giant tortoises and visited a cashmere shop. We had lunch on the peak and then back through the beautiful scenery to the rum distillery. Raggoo is a highly experienced, knowledgeable guide and looked after us so well. My husband is partially disabled with impaired mobility and he made sure he was safe and adjusted the tour accordingly. His knowledge was fantastic and he was able to answer all our questions. He personally took us round the rum distillery so we didnt have to join the large groups which would have meant standing around a great deal more. We learnt loads and would highly recommend. He even took us shopping before we went back to the hotel. Much appreciated.

Poor, tried to say we damaged the car rim when it was damaged when we rented the car....thankfully we took pic of it. - Felt like these guys (CRC) were trying to rip us off when we returned our hire car after 8 days. They said the front passenger rim was damaged by us (very small scuff on edge of rim), however the guy who handed the car over to us pointed this out and thankfully my wife took a pic of all the scuffs/scratches/dents in the car before we drove it. When we returned the car a different guy tried to claim that the damage to the rim was not recorded and we would be liable (an excess for damage of £1600!!!) When my wife showed him the pic and the date/time it was taken he was somewhat annoyed as if he was caught out. The service after this was very poor....the guy taken us back to the airport did not load our luggage into the van nor did he take it out for us upon arrival at the airport. Compare this to when they collected us to get the car hire they were so polite and loaded the luggage in and out and we're really helpful. Don't think I would rent a car from these guys again.
