Depart from your Colombo hotel at 6:00 am for your private day-long tour of Kandy, Sri Lanka’s archaic mountaintop capital. You can snack on a packed breakfast while on the road. Visit the Mawanella Spice Garden and Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, a sanctuary of large palms, unique orchids, and diverse plant life. You’ll have some free time for lunch (not included in the package) before heading to UNESCO’s globally recognized Temple of the Tooth and Kandy market in Kandy. Your journey back to Colombo will include a dinner stop (at individual expense).
