Mazatlan tour overview - We were picked up at our hotel in north Mazatlan. Our tour guide Eric took us to four or five different parts of the old town including the marketplace and the observatory where he provided us with a history of the various areas as we walked around. He allowed time for wandering around each of the places we visited. The observatory tour included the incline transport and visit to a bird sanctuary and iguana sanctuary up by the observatory. We gave him a good gratuity for him to share with the van driver.

Observatory, excellent place to visit, very attentive staff, very good facilities and views are 100 - Excellent stay in the city, hotel and observatory, I only recommend not going in the winter season since the sea, pools and climate are cold.

Observatory Excursion - The Observatory was an excellent place to visit on a cooler day. Enjoyed the parrots, the shows and the iguanas. Very nice excursion. Make sure if you are over 60 to take your ID as it is cheaper for seniors. I’m

Great tour that hits all the highlights - This was a great tour of Mazatlan. A van took us around to various interesting parts of the city, and then we'd hop out and walk the streets. It was a hot day (even in February!) so we appreciated the bottled water. Good coverage of the main hotspots (Malecon, cliff divers, old town, cathedral, market). The highlight (at the end) was definitely the Observatory. It's a pretty building on spectacular grounds. Well worth it if you are in Mazatlan!

first off, they went to... - first off, they went to confirm our tour and the tour was booked for the correct time of 10am and they pushed the group to 3pm, which was very undfortunate. they did nothing to rectify the problem, saying thats how it showed up in their system. then they show up to pick guests up 25 minutes late. very awful experience.
