Day one tour - Tour was great gave us a great lay of the land on our first day. Enjoyed the aquarium lots of beautiful tanks . Shopping in the market was very crowded as it was Sunday but found some great deals. Got to see where some other attractions are to visit later in the trip.

Aquarium tour - Autro is a very pleasant and funny person to be around I loved the history stories he shared about each place we visited The time flew by because I was enjoying myself I would definitely recommend him to anyone

Do not miss this! - An amazing facility! All age groups (1-60) were blown away by this aquarium. They even have an area where, after washing your hands, you can touch the marine life.

Great private tour! - We had an amazing tour. We were the only couple on the tour. Our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the area. The cathedral is not to be missed. It is a beautiful work of art. The city tour was a bit rushed but we had a reservation for a specific time at the Aquarium. The Aquarium was very good. Lots of displays in addition to the garden areas. There were a lot of species to look at and learn about. Our guide was a biologist and used to work at the Aquarium so his level of knowledge was outstanding.

Better than I expected - Incredible facilities, service and experience. Highly recommended as part of your stay in Mazatlan. The best aquarium in Mexico

Trip canceled - We were looking forward to this, but we got notice the night before that it was canceled. They did advise this was possible when we booked it, but it was still disappointing. We heard from several people that the new aquarium is very nice.

Nexustour Sunwing Rep dishonest to customer and their employer - We were a family of thirteen people that booked the city tour with the aquarium through the Sunwing Nexus Tours rep. Our tour was to include a full day to visit the Malacom , the Cathedral, Cliff Divers, the Aquarium, tour of downtown, and the downtown market to shop. The rep even went as far to say that he knew the owner of the aquarium and he would arrange that we see more than the average tour sees. I was also checking with the hotel tours to see what they could offer, and he said don’t trust them, you won’t get what you pay for, however it was actually this Sunwing Nexus rep that ripped us off. We were only allowed to get out of the Van at the Malcom for a picture at the Mazatlan letters and right back into the van again. No time to walk around. Did not learn what all the different city statues represented. We did not have time to stop and visit the Cathedral (one of the main attractions) the aquarium was rushed. We were told there was no time for the market, so we requested to be dropped off at the downtown market and had to find our own way back to the hotel, or miss the Market altogether. This then caused us extra expenses, getting transportation back to the hotel, which was quite far away, The market was something all 13 people wanted to see & shop at. Although our guide was good, and did what he could, he was told we were booked for an express tour, which was not what we paid for. He was communicating with the office, but he said there was nothing could be done to correct our tour. I wrote to Nexustours when we returned home to advise how disappointed we were and how the sales rep was dishonest with us and requested a partial refund. They said they investigated and spoke with the rep, and believed what he told them but apologized and offered a credit for future use of $25, for a tour that costs us $900. I wrote back and stated that was not acceptable, and haven’t heard back since. I’m not a person that writes negative reviews just because something isn’t perfect, however when we are lied too and the tour was nothing like we were told , especially for the cost, people need to know to be more careful when booking. I guess if it sounds too good, I should have known.
