The excursion is rounded off with a visit to La Noria, a neighboring colonial town featuring traditional workshops, where skilled craftsmen create handmade products such as horse saddles, pottery, and leather items including purses, belts, and sandals. To satisfy your culinary cravings, La Noria offers an array of local cuisine, including burros prietos (dark burritos) and mole enchiladas. In recent times, several local women have graciously opened their homes to serve these delicacies in a restaurant setting, offering them at very affordable prices.
