Kruger National Park sunset/nocturnal - private safari

Kruger National Park - Relax and enjoy a light lunch, then take a dip in the pool or explore the beautiful lodge and walking trail. We leave the lodge around 3:30 pm for a sunset/nocturnal safari in Kruger National Park. In winter, the early sunset extends your night safari, while in summer, you can enjoy stunning sunsets during the safari. Return to the lodge around 8:00 pm for a delightful dinner and a restful night, preparing for your full-day safari in Kruger National Park.

Kruger National Park - private safari

Kruger National Park - All safaris begin before sunrise, the most exciting part of the day, filled with anticipation. After a short drive, we enter the park gates. Your guide knows the best spots to find wildlife, including the Big 5 and plains game. This is the prime time to see predators. The lodge will provide breakfast packs, and your guide will stop after about 3 hours for breakfast, a bathroom break, and a coffee break. We then continue the safari. Kruger offers various ecozones, each with different wildlife. We visit rivers, watering holes, plains, and bushveld regions. We stop for lunch at a rest camp, where the meal is at your own expense. You have time for curio shopping or enjoying a cold beer! The guide then continues the safari, heading back to the lodge. We return between 3:30 - 4:30 pm, with time to relax, swim, and enjoy a great dinner.

Blyde River Canyon, Panorama Route - private tour

Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve - Today, we visit God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon (the world’s 3rd largest canyon), Lisbon Waterfall, the 3 Rondawels, and the town of Graskop.
God’s Window offers a view from the escarpment with a 1,300 m drop below. On a clear day, you can see as far as Kruger and beyond. There is a fantastic short walk through a natural rainforest environment. Bourke’s Luck Potholes are stunning natural formations created by water erosion over hundreds of years, featuring round carvings and holes of various sizes in the red sandstone at the confluence of the Truer and Blyde Rivers. Your guides will share the history of the region. You can use small footbridges to walk over the chasms, observing the water flowing through the cracks and holes. There are also several small but beautiful waterfalls in the area. We spend about 1 hour here, enjoying a great walk of about 1 km in total.

Walking Safari - onward flight to Cape Town

Kruger National Park - This active and interactive way to view wildlife allows you to connect with nature in a way that game drives don’t. Track animals, see creatures up close, and appreciate the amazing flora. Being on foot lets you experience a world few get to see, hear, touch, and smell – your guide will help you get up close and personal with Africa’s flora and fauna.

After a short breakfast and coffee stop, we’ll continue the safari, returning to the lodge around 11 am. Here you’ll say goodbye to your guide and freshen up before the journey back to Johannesburg.

Upon arrival, check in for your flight to Cape Town, where you will be met by either myself or my colleague and transferred to your hotel.
Accommodation: Premier Hotel - Seapoint
(well situated in a safe area on the promenade, with a short complimentary shuttle to the Waterfront with restaurants and activities).

Cape of Good Hope - This region is a UNESCO Heritage Site due to its exceptional floral diversity. We follow the west coast via Clifton, stopping at Maiden’s Cove to enjoy a view of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay. From here, we drive along Chapman’s Peak Pass, taking in the breathtaking views. Next is the Cape of Good Hope NP, the most westerly point on the African continent where the cold Atlantic Ocean meets the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean. The early Portuguese mariners named this famous landmark, and you have an opportunity to walk to the lighthouse. Then our journey takes us to False Bay, where we visit Africa’s largest remaining African Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach.

Finally, we head to Boyes Drive, which offers a great view of the surfers below, and if you like, you can chat with the shark spotter as he watches over the bay.
