  experience is like no other. Be taken on a guided tour of discovery where you will learn about our winery
  s rich history and how our sustainable winemaking practices are taking us from today into tomorrow.

This exciting tour takes you behind-the-scenes of our Estate property in McLaren Flat, where you’ll be shown our 30+ year old vineyards, our purposeful and lively wood lots, the winery and all it’s intricacies, as well as journeying through our beautiful barrel shed.

After exploring our vineyards and winery, you will be hosted to a private, personalised tasting, featuring many of the wines that were discussed throughout the tour. The tasting is comprised of white wines, rose and red wines - as well as a fortified for good measure. Throughout this tasting you’ll have the opportunity to find out the more intricate details about our winemaking process and philosophy.

Once complete, you will take a short, guided walk through our native woodlot to our award-winning restaurant The Currant Shed. Here, you will indulge in a regionally inspired 3-course lunch, complete with Shottesbrooke wines and an incredible view of our vineyards.

During our detailed tour, we introduce visitors to the detailed process by which our winemaker creates our exceptional wines - a perspective not often granted at many wineries. At Shottesbrooke, visitors are treated to interactive sensory experiences, tasting sessions for barrel-aged and bottle-ready wines, and a unique chance to observe our bustling winery operations in person.

The tour concludes with a welcoming glass of sparkling wine and an extraordinary three-course meal at The Currant Shed. Boasting years of culinary expertise, The Currant Shed’s team of chefs have honed their skills in various parts of the globe. They excel at translating the essence of the land into their dishes, using some of the finest produce from Fleurieu and South Australia, sourced from a multitude of local vendors. Every carefully prepared dish is a standalone masterpiece with its own tale to tell.
